Any love for the old Kenner Starting Lineups? I had hundreds of them growing up and ended up donating them as I got older. Now I'm looking to start collecting only the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders, New York Yankees, and New York Knicks players that don't have McFarlane figures. I also plan on getting all the Bo Jackson figures since he was my childhood hero/idol. A lot are decently priced on the bay but it's crazy how expensive some are, I guess since they were released regionally. Here's what I've picked up so far. Dave Casper, Chester McGlockton, Jeff George, Terry McDaniel Bo Jackson, Bo Jackson, Raghib Ismail, Napoleon Kaufman, Harvey Williams Group shot Bo Jackson

I had a bunch from the early-mid 90s when I was a kid. Looking at that Bo Jackson in the Royals uniform makes me think my dad or I had that one. I'm gonna have to go digging to see if I still have any. I know I still have the dream team box set somewhere.

I had a bunch, but they were stolen (When I say bunch, I literally mean like over 200 MOC figure from Hockey, Basketball, Football, Baseball, and even the Golfers) I still have a few, most of them are boxed. I'm actually trying to part with them.

You have to get the Bo Jackson White Sox figures. The black jersey version with the poster was one of my absolute favorite SL figures ever. Plus the diving version came with the coin and I always really liked the coins.

I forgot all about the coin until you just mentioned it. They were pretty cool accessories.

One of my favorite things Kenner did was the Stadium Star series.
I collected the MLB and NBA ones for my personal collection and would get the NFL and NHL ones to sell for at the time was a huge profit. Some of the NHL ones were going for $50-$60 a piece in their heyday.
I was lucky enough to have a friend who worked at a local department store (worked in toys luckily) who would always tip me off on Saturday's when they got their trucks in. They would always stock new product on Sunday morning.
2 of my favorite stories that I will never forget as long as I live during the heyday of Kenner.
The first is when the Stadium Star set was really huge. They were going for big time money at the time. My favorite player of all time is Frank Thomas. He was only 1 per case. Well one Saturday afternoon I got a call that they got 2 cases of them in. My guy held them back for me and I said I would be in Sunday to get them. I went when the store opened because I knew a guy who was a known scalper would be there to cherry pick everything. Well the joke was on him. Anyway, there was a huge line of people and they opened the store and they all take off running back to the toys. They did not put them out like they normally would on the shelves, but brought the 2 cases out on a cart. There were 14 on the cart because my guy held the 2 Thomas's for me. Well they bring out the cart and the scalper starts going crazy, I mean literally screaming and throwing a fit because there were no Frank Thomas figures on the cart. 10 minutes or so go by and everybody leaves and my guy brings out the 2 Thomas's and I am on my way.
The 2nd story is about the NBA figures. Would have been the rookie figure for Shaq when they were big time money as well. My guy tipped me off that those had come in but I said I wanted some fun so dont hold any back for me. They got several cases in, enough to fill 3 bascarts full. Well the scalper had his punk kid in line and when they dropped the chain to let people in we both take off. We both are running when the kid bumps me and I go flying into a display of shirts. I get up and run back to the toys where the carts were, took off with a cart and ran to the pillow/blanket section and went through the cart and got what I wanted.
I can also remember getting several NHL guys to trade for other pieces.
Still have a ton of Kenner stuff in my collection and it is a shame to see how the value has dropped.

I have my two favorite teams still...Raiders and Pirates. I used to have Jets and Mets also, but I sold the Jets and gave the Mets players to my brother in law.

Do you have all the Raiders or just some of them? Steve Beuerlein, Marc Wilson, Jim Otto, Greg Townsend, and Vann McElroy seem like they're a bit on the pricey side.

I don't remember if he was a singles or multi pack. I know Stabler came with either Upshaw, Casper or Biletnikoff
