I was watching an old NWA/JCP tag team match from 1988 or so the other day that had Sting teaming with Nikita Koloff who had grown his hair back at the time.
To me, Nikita looked much more intimidating and better without hair which made me think of which wrestlers looked better/had careers take off after they shaved their head or had their hair cut real short.
The biggest and most obvious one to me other than Nikita Koloff was Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle is another one where the bald look suited him. |

I liked Angle better with hair. Gave him that "All American Boy" look which is what he was suppose to be. Austin Ill agree with being bald except for when he was Stunning Steve. You cant be Stunning while bald.

Austin is the only one for me. Maybe Hardcore Holly, because he looked like a slob with balding hair before he got rid of what was left of it.
I always thought Angle lost a lot of his spark when he went bald.

Bald Nikita Koloff could kill you. Flat top Nikita Koloff was a laundry-mat manager.
I liked Angle better with hair. He was funny and made me laugh. Bald machine Kurt Angle takes himself too serious.

I thought Angle looked good with the hair. I don't think the bald suits Dwayne though, it seems so odd. |

Angle before the head shaving - I loved the character, and the hair suited him. I lost interest in him after 2002 when he went bald, but since 2006 when he became a wrestling machine and when he joined TNA, I thought he was legit badass. Take no prisoners, and will break your ankle. Also, although he fluctuated as a face/heel, I still liked his work, and he improved his look IMO.
Angle was awesome during the Invasion. I got behind him as a face/hero big time as a 10 year old lol. Hated when he turned and "joined" the Alliance. Dumb decision.
