but he can do the same exact things in a singles match that he does in a tag match..... it has and always will be about BOOKING. the reason people are caring now is because he actually was WINNING MATCHES. i know we're all "smart fans" and we know wins and losses aren't real...etc....but to an audience it's hard to really care about a guy when you KNOW he's just going to LOSE. It has nothing to do with the booking, it was the same thing when he was in the indies. So it's basically either nobody has ever known how to book him as a singles competitor, or he's just born to be a tag team guy. I watched Claudio Castagnoli wrestle Takeshi Morishima for the ROH World Title and the entire crowd was in the palm of his hands because we ALL wanted to see him get that W. Just an example. Nothing is absolute. The guy has the skills to entertain the audience. That's all you need. If he actually was allowed to wrestle, win most of the time maybe come up short in some big matches here and there to give him that "underdog" edge...people would EASILY latch on to the guy. |

Rollins is clearly the best of the 3 from the Shield but Ambrose in the Main Event is a welcome addition.
