I hate how oversensitive people are about the military. I respect them, don't get me wrong, but today I see a post from Elvis Presley's Facebook with a photo of him in the military and a caption saying "Today we remember all who have lost their lives serving their country."
....and there's people arguing about the fact that Elvis didn't lose his life in the military and bitching...lots of bitching. Which was not the point at all.
I'm not sure if it's social media that brings the worst out in people or having no filter behind a computer, but these people make me question the direction of society.

-Social media is completely ruining the world.
-I respect veterans and the soldiers that have fought and died for a reason, but I fail to see why I should salute the majority of national guardsmen these days.
-Obamas doing a great job
-people are far too sensitive as of the past few years.
-not everything is a race/gender issue, no reason to make everything one
-american sniper sucked
-arrow/flash/Gotham are just bad
-majority of dr who/sherlock fans are weird as hell
-taylor swift would still get it

Just a few to start off with. Red Hot Chili Peppers are crap. Metallica's Load and Reload albums were great. Chris Nolan's movies aren't anything special. Inception and Dark Knight Rises are two standout bores. Game Of Thrones is average. Baseball is boring as  . Emily Ratakjowski is a butter face. Same with Miranda Kerr. Apple > any of its competitors. People that barely have enough money to look after themselves shouldn't have kids until they're reasonably financially secure. UFC is meh. They hit each other, big deal. I agree with the UFC comment. I loved UFC in the early days when it was part competition and part spectacle. In the early days they really promoted the differences between all the fighters. It made for a great show. These days they present all the fighters as almost carbon copies of one another. There are no more core fighting styles, they are all "MMA" fighters. Can you call it Mixed Martial Arts if they all fight in the same style? And the physical appearance of all the fighters is just about the same. The only thing that is different between the fighters is skin color, tats, and color of shorts. It's just Meh to me. I'll watch it but I dont go out of my way to watch like I did back in the day. yeah, they all fight in the same style...mma MIXED martial arts. As in, involving several different martial arts. That's what makes it interesting. some guys are strickly bjj with some stand up, whole others are all standing game and have zero knowledge on the ground. |

I didn't like Mel Blanc.
The extended guitar solo from "My Sharona" is amazing & very underrated.
Do we really need to keep saying "Bless you" after someone sneezes? Really? Is anything bad going to happen to them if we don't?
