If they can get some bigger names I might check a tv taping out as they're doing them in Vegas.
So far, the biggest draw for me is Moose lol

So with the exception of Gabriel & Sonnen as an "analyst," the promotion is essentially a leach territory? Considering GFW started out by doing cross promotion with other wrestling companies, I'm not sure why anybody expected anything different? I didn't expect it to even get off the ground, but then one edition of Wrestle-Kingdom later... Anyways, you'd think a 2nd generation promoter would have more foresight than this. There just seems to be no hope for Professional Wrestling. "Sports Entertainment" is more or less booming, but it's life source is dwindling.

I'm sure he'll use some lesser known guys too, but those aren't really people you'd announce in a press release.

It just pains me that this will just be another promotion in the footnotes of our genre's history.

Pretty hard to say that before a show is even booked... It's Jeff... Jarrett. As much as I wish he'd have a traumatic religious conversion & "hear God tell him to make Jim Cornette the head booker," I just don't see it happening.

Also noticed Sanada from TNA/Wrestle 1 on the poster but not read his name being mentioned.
Unless I've missed something. Not sure if this has already been mentioned.

Kudos to my mate Turnbuckle Phil for mentioning George R R Martin in this thread...
I'll reserve judgment for now on GFW.

if and when this company gets going it will give wwe some trouble i think people are sick of the same story lines in wwe. its time to start more and bring in lucha and new japan talent will be great. hell to me lucha underground is better than wwe.

Crazy it was ten years ago though, jeez.
