I still think it sucks that back in the BCA era that a Chainsaw Charlie figure was never created. How can we have the NAO vs. Cactus and Chainsaw then?? true. I don't think they did a plain Terry Funk either, even though he was in there in early 1997. Correct! No Terry Funk BCA at all in any character. Though he did get a Chainsaw Charlie figure in those weird small plastic BCA style figures. I forget what they were called but 6 came with a ring and accessories. |

Terry had a lot of CS figures but none from his NWA days for some reason Original one that was in CS 4 (or maybe CS 2, I forget) with the bandana and red/black/white tights 1/100 one from KOTDM with Black/grey/white tights and bloody shirt, bandana, head, Two pack with Mankind with boots tucked into jeans. Three pack with Sabu, Cactus, different crotch mold and green/yellow/white tights Chainsaw Charlie CS Chainsaw Charlie CS Deluxe Aggression (why they didn't make a DA Funk is beyond me) |

To be fair, Chainsaw Charlie and Cactus Jack were planned for a Jakks BCA 2-pack in 2 Tuff Series 2 alongside Road Dog/B.A. Billy Gunn, Kama Mustafa/D'Lo Brown, and The Jackyl/Kurrgan, but plans changed and they were replaced with Jerry Lawler/Brian Christopher. I suspect the short shelf life of the Chainsaw character is to blame for this set not being made in '98. I've even heard that the 2-pack would have come with a S.T.O.M.P. Series 1 Ahmed Johnson wooden club accessory wrapped in barbed wire, but of course nothing came of it. However, Jakks did make a barbed wire bat accessory for Mick Foley's Triple Threat 3-pack released around the same time (September 1998) that the "Hardcore Legends" 2-pack would have come out. As previously mentioned, a miniature Chainsaw Charlie figure was made for the Survivor Series Mini Rings playset (released in November 1998, or two months after the would-be 2 Tuff Series 2 BCA set). I should also mention that there are prototypes that exist for Cactus and Chainsaw Thumb Wrestlers which probably would have come out in the fall of '98 had they too come to fruition. I like to think that the supposed Hardcore Legends BCA 2-pack can exist if you just scale up the Mini Rings Chainsaw Charlie figure (or make a crude BCA custom using a CS Funk head with a modified BCA Godwinns body) and package it with the BCA Cactus Jack figure and barbed wire bat accessory from the Foley 3-pack. |

if you look at all those mini figures they look, down to the hands, exactly like their BCA counterpart, so im wondering did they actually have a prototype bca chainsaw charlie to base this off maybe?
