So I've checked TRU every week in 2015 - it's 5 mins from my house so it's never a special trip - and last week I was like "ah they haven't put out anything new this year" (except e33 then 2 cases of the crush set (WTF!?) so I didn't go and I went 2 days ago and SURE ENOUGH new (well still old but new to me) basics... You know that feeling when you round the aisle and you see new boxes on the shelf and you feel like a kid again and scurry over there as fast you can...and BUPKISS. The set I've been waiting for and not one Eva Marie. I was SO PISSED...
So point is - go with your gut. If any canadian collector finds this series at they're tru and can help me out it'd be great. I'm not paying 40$ or more on ebay for eva marie lol
Now here's another thing that I'm getting fed up with... I asked one of the (LAZY) tru staff and I got the usual "all we have is on the shelf" crap. Now that MAY be true cuz there was a lot of (old) product on the shelf but everytime I ask someone at TRU to check in the back that's the line I get. Without even batting an eyelash "everything we have is on the shelf"... Anyone else ge this line of crap EVERY TIME too? I've been told this by people at wal-mart too and then I get someone else to check and they come out with a case of figures... Oh "nothing else in the back" eh? F'n lazy bastards...
Out of all the years we've had these wwe mattel figs so far, since they switched to the white boxes this/last year has been THE WORST IMO... The expensive prices and the lack of product (THAT IS OUT THERE) is weighing down on me... I don't understand why there's new ninja turtles figures CONSISTENTLY (for example) and there's been nothing wwe related on my shelves...
Anyways I'm done rambling lol...now it's your turn

When I go with my gut, I see 35 thousand Daniel Bryan figures. For a guy so over, his figures are in long term relationships with pegs. Only place I do not see a bazillion Bryans is Kmart. And that is because there are two bazillion Warriors. And if I don't see Bryan or Warrior, I see CM Shelfwarmer. Best Shelfwarmer in the world.  retail. |

I would gladly send it to you for cost plus shipping if you want it (and they still have it.) The distribution has reached super crap levels of bad, it hasn't been this terrible since the first year of the Mattel line. |

How annoying. I was so lucky findings Eva. I found her on my trip to wm31,at Sears or whatever that big random store is. I found everyone in the ser one by one by searching high and low in the toy section, then boom! Eva Marie, and she only cost $7.50!

Anyways I'm done rambling lol...now it's your turn Not my gut so much as my wife. We'll go out and I'll stop in to TRU. I usually find the same peg warmers. Every now and then she'll point out that I walked into that TRU not too long ago so I'll skip it. And then the next time I walk in things will be different. It just leaves me wondering what all I missed by not stopping in. But to be honest there will be 3 or 4 times where I walk in and it's like they stocked nothing new at all. So I dont let the few times that I miss things bug me too much. I look at shopping for toys the same as I look at hunting or fishing, if I didnt catch that fish or shoot that deer, someone else will. They cant all be for me. |

I HATE being told that "oh all we have is what's on shelf blah blah blah." It's just lazy. They don't even bother to check. A few years ago I was at TRU looking for E23 and all that was on the shelves was E22. I asked an employee of they had more stuff in the back. They replied with "all we have is what's on shelves." I asked another employee just out of curiosity and they said "sure I'll check." Sure enough, they came out of the back with a case of E23. I thought wow. That first employee was LAZY.

Well I went in today and asked one of the guys to check and he's like oh I have a case of figs in the back. ELITE F'N 34!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That useless bitch LIED TO ME. I will get in contact with the store management and district management on this one. I got all the figs I wanted though - Doink, Hogan, Paige & Russev!!!!!
Listened to my gut and it paid off today!!!!
