You're right, he would have looked like a much bigger star if he'd been put straight on the main roster and come out to a silent arena who don't know who he is. Maybe instead of debuting in the main event like he did on NXT, he could have come out during a Wade Barrett segment. Yep, he'd definitely have been a much bigger deal on the main roster! |

I'm pretty stoked. It might not be the prime of Joe's career, but the guy can still go and there's so many potential great matchup's.
Plus, WWE will be a great change of scenery for him. And it seems like they must have SOME faith in him since he debuted in a pretty big match for NXT. And it's finally a Samoan that's not related to the Rock.
I just hope they don't change his name if and when he makes it to the main roster.

Devitt never won the big one there though... He was still one of their biggest stars and was also a two-time Junior Heavyweight champion at the time of his signing. Generico never won the ROH championship, but he's still one of if not the most recognisable guys in ROH history. |

I think the difference is AJ has four kids and he's making more money doing what he's doing now than he would have signing with WWE. I'd love to see him work for WWE, but he's said he's in no hurry to change his circumstance and I don't know if they'll sign him in a few years. |
