Props to Ringside. Fast delivery and a great deal as always. Now I don't have to drive around to 20 stores looking for these.
I bring to you...WWE Elite Collection Series 35!
First up we have The King of Kings
Triple H
Originally I wasn't sold on the idea of another massive cape & crowned H's...but this one is pretty damn cool.
The "armor" is nicely detailed and looks intimidating even on the action figure
Underneath that armor is a nicely updated "wrestling attire" Elite of Hunter. Although I can't remember if he had HHH symbols on his boots at Wrestlemania and they forgot it
The head is similar to all the other newer HHH heads but with a "shaved head" look for better accuracy. His facial expression is pretty good
Compared to the WM27 Elite I think this newer one is better overall...what's your opinion?
Next we'll experience the Quake of Quakes...
EARTHQUAKE
What an awesome surprise to have a Flashback of 'Quake. He's in his iconic blue attire that is nicely detailed and comes with what amounts to a piece of wrestling history
His upper arm tattoo is present and fully colored, nice touch.
Mattel also did a fantastic job on the head & face capturing Earthquake's expression nicely
DAMIEN
I'll never forget the day that Earthquake "killed" Damien, when the WWE can make a kid feel bad for a snake you know they are doing something right.
However I have one minor complaint here....the damn snake BARELY fits inside the bag it comes with. You have to squeeze the hell out of it, and it will at some point fit in but it's definitely too small of a bag and/or the plastic snake being molded in one position makes it more difficult.
Never forget:
Speaking of snakes....
Rendy Oh-tin
A welcomed update for Randy in the Elite line. I'm really happy Mattel went with blue trunks here for a different look.
They kind of went a little "heavy" with the black paint on his shoulder tattoos though
The new headscan is definitely a candidate for "looks better in person"...it's....OK. Not great, but not as bad as I thought it was gonna be
The real treat here is the Evolution shirt. First off it's CLOTH!!!! Secondly that was an amazing shirt, one of my favs of the last few years. It's one of those shirts that I'll probably end up buying 2 more of these if I get a good price so I can have shirts for an Elite Batista & HHH
Rolling on to....
Luke by-god Harper
Mattel got a little creative here....or they just ran out of ideas for accessories. The updated Harper comes with his signature entrance vest and....2 Gators. I guess because he's from a swap? or he does the "gator roll"...definitely a weird choice. I'm not exactly sure what to do with them.
The figure itself is excellent, with his vest perfectly detailed
The headscan while slightly expressionless is a spot-on likeness
Harper is always ready for action
OLE!!!
Los Matadores
All I can say is....IT'S ABOUT TIME. I love the Elite Line and I want the entire roster as Elites. These guys are a very welcome edition to my collection even if I have a little bit of a gripe...get to that in a minute.
Diego & Fernando are LOADED with details and come with cool jackets & their bull-fighting capes
Their jackets I believe are made of a newer kind of plastic...it's much more pliable, they were incredibly easy to take off and put back on, and they have perfectly done details
OLE!
EDIT*
Well apparently I am the receiver of a factory error...as I got two Diego figures with one being packed in a Fernando box. So the below can be ignored for the most part but I'm leaving it for historical evidence. lol

Now here's my issue...
I know that in gimmick the idea is that these 2 guys are supposed to be hard to tell apart, hence the masks.
However in real life and reality...they are NOT twins. They look similar with the masks, yes. But they ARE different.
Which Mattel got good enough with their Battle Pack...
and not so much with these Elites.
They are the EXACT SAME FIGURE. From head to toe, literally.
Fernando on your right...Diego on your left
Fernando on your right...Diego on your left
Why didn't Mattel re-use the BP heads? They put the EXACT SAME HEAD on both figures and just labeled them differently. There is literally nothing to distinguish either figure besides the package they come in.
To be honest that's a pretty silly thing to do, even the Usos got different heads and THEY are "sold" to fans as twins. It kind of comes across as pretty lazy. Obviously it didn't stop my from buying these figures but something like that for $20 toys just can't go un-mentioned. Since it's highly likely these guys will never get another Elite figure I really would have preferred some new scans to at least be able to tell them apart.

BACK to reality...
Overall Elite 35 is a solid set of figures. A nice Flashback, 2 debut figures to the line, and some updates. I'd recommend them all to be honest.
7.5 would buy/10
Thanks for looking.
