One on the bay is already at $50. Wasn't pointing my finger at anyone specific on the thread but rather anyone who buys off ebay because they can't wait a few weeks until these will be easy to find

Not to be a jerk, and add fuel to the argument...but you're telling me that had you been right behind that guy as he scooped up the entire case just to sell it for 2 or 3 times the amount that you wouldn't be mad? Not even in the slightest? Sure, I understand the argument that he worked and earned the money to do so, but don't we all do just that? And not for nothing, but at least a collector is buying it for the enjoyment of their hobby, and not just for the pure ability to take advantage of people who either can't find them in stores, or are international collectors and don't have these at all. idk, just my 2 cents. How do you know he's not a collector? I buy 2 of every figure I want

I buy s many as I can afford when I see exclusives. I like to have 1 carded and 1 loose, plus I buy for anyone else on here that might need them. I also might need one for a custom... head swap... accessory... whatever.
It's like my collection of 6" Star Wars Black figures... Stormtroopers were really hard to find, but I bought every one I could find (over 30 total) because I'm a troop builder. Every one else be damned.
I'll buy what I want, and as many as I want. If anyone needs the same thing I want... Get there before me! I have no remorse!

I get buying figures and reselling them to make money to keep supporting their habit. But it's still a bitch move. Some are so desperate to be the first to own something that they will pay above market prices for figures that will eventually flooding shelves before long. Which feeds the current system of overpaying and renews the cycle.

There are members here that resell figures online that I bought from. At reasonable prices including shipping. People who buy figures that they know are in demand or considered rare out of stores to sell for 50% or more in mark up because they know someone will be eventually give in and buy are punks. People are reading this forum & looking at how much RSC is selling certain figures and using info to jack up prices. It's their rights to do so. Just like it's my right to call it a bitch move.

I buy 2 of every figure I want same here and if I buy more than one its for other collectors....and I already grabbed two Yoko's off the bay so that when I find yoKo in retail I can ship them to homies in London

How do you know he's not a collector? I buy 2 of every figure I want oh don't get me wrong, I too sometimes buy a second to keep moc, or for custom purposes. But I only made that statement towards that picture because someone on here follows that guy on instagram and knows for fact that he is selling them on ebay. And one or 2 extra figures is a big difference to 8...aka an entire case. I didn't mean to stir the pot. Everyone deserves the right to do what they want. But it's just frustrating when fellow collectors miss out on account of scalping.

I was wondering why my friend sent me the text of "I found Tits at Target!"
That silly autocorrect.

Everyone is a little nutty I think. First come first serve I say! I don't even wanna begin to think about the money I've spent on this habit/hobby. If and when I find figs at retail, early on, or a rare one everyone wants, I put them on eBay too. Gotta support my habit. If I'm at Target at 8am, and I'm the one who opens the case or first in the isle then good for me! I got up early cause I wanted my figs. If I'm lucky enough to find doubles, hell yeah I'm selling them to try and break even.
I've also met up w board members and given them figs at retail cost. I love helping members on here out. I would t try and rip someone off. If it's an auction, and people are bidding, then good for me.

Target after work son. Which means if for any reason they're at my store, they'll be gone by the time I get there. I will only buy Tito for non US collectors. I ing hate Tito

If I see these, I'll probably get Hogan and Tito....that is if Target isn't requiring that I take out a loan in order to afford them by that point.
