hey squad, just thought id share the progression of my arena. im sure most of you probably saw the original one last year but i have added a fair bit to it since then. i remade the stage out of wood and it alot larger now, i have added a crowd, still need to put a printout backdrop in though. added 3 lights, 1 above the ring, a white one above the stage to light up the whole arena, and a coloured led spotlight for entrances. added a backstage which directly connects to the stage (see behind kane) , made custom guardrails, hung a tron above the ring. i still need to get better barricades as the ones i'm using now are pretty average, really excited for the ones that we saw protos for recently, hopefully i can get them in australia. hopefully ill be making a hell in a cell soon, i still need to make better square parts on the side of the stage, if anyone has any ideas please let me know! ideas would be greatly appreciated for anything as i am looking to make this as good as i possible can. skirts, cage, ropes, turnbuckles etc are all made by me also enjoy!!! sorry for bad qual using my phone update 14/7: added lights throughout the scaffolding, took forever as it was pretty stiff and had to use a crazy amount of zipties to hold it down. think it looks pretty mad though! planning on a cell still hopefully, been real busy, please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! i love adding stuff to my arena but im out of ideas

What size of wood do you use for the barriers - deck wood? How do you get the barrier to stay in place?

I'm not too sure as it was just laying around for a long time, you can see the size pretty well in the announcer photo. I just cut it, screwed it together and painted it black, took about an hour max

What are you using for lighting? ive got 1 lamp on the roof pointing to the ring, another lamp on the roof pointed at the entrance, which is one of those led remote control ones off ebay, cost about $5 and you can change it to any colour you want, make it strobe etc. the lights in the scaffolding are sorta like fairy/christmas lights, i found them at a friends house and he said i could have them so im not too sure what they really are. its like a tube with little leds in it

Looks great, even though its not entirely accurate! My favorite shot is the first one with the stage lit. I really like the lighting effect. Nice craftsmanship as well! Keep it up...

This looks very cool. I would truly be amazed if the Raw is War 2000 stage got this treatment after that cardboard mirage Jakks released back in the day...
