Glad I waited on Paige. I feel like all-black is a more recognized attire for her. Plus, it contrasts with her skin color better than purple. A real, clean figure I can't wait to buy.
Elite Sami Zayn looks cool so far. The NXT title is a welcome addition, let's just hope it's scaled to the figures correctly. The NXT women's belt was flippin' gigantoid and I hope by the time a Sasha Banks figure comes around they have that figured out lol. But, no matter how the belt looks, I'm getting Zayn in an instant.
Balor I'm torn on. Maybe it's the paint app, but his face looks too.. what's the word? Toyish? I mean, it looks like him, but a really cartoony version of him. I'll have to wait to see the final product in elite form before I make a decision. Also, anyone know if Elite Balor is going to take up 2 slots in a series with normal and demon or are they going to be split into diff. sets? It'd be great to just pick up both at the same time lol.
Passing on Hideo until he gets an Elite because I want his entrance gear lol. The face scan could be a smidge better. On the proto slide, it looks like him, but in figure form a bit of it is lost in translation.
Same deal with Charlotte. I look at the slide and I'm impressed with the scan, then I look at the figure and I'm let down. Maybe it's the lighting or the angle, but that scan doesn't look too good. Part of me wants to chill on the sideline and wait for a better, more iconic figure to be released, but Mattel might be slow in correcting the scan. AJ Lee had a similar problem of "kinda sorta" head scans/sculpts that couldn't let me pull the trigger on buying. I'm the kind of person that only buys one of each superstar, so the wait for stuff like this can be agonizing.
Another good example is Daniel Bryan. Holy cow, that new scan IS HIM. I prefer straight-faced scans, but that's bloody amazing. I have his last elite figure, and I'm happy with it, but if I ever broke my own rule of multiple figs, I'd buy this.
I need to see more of KO, as well. Right now I'm not happy about those arms though. He's not ripped nor fat, but I'd like to see more accurate parts there. This body type needs work; Rusev's figure was far too muscular for me to consider buying. I hope they figure this out before Samoa Joe gets a figure.
Naomi looks awesome. I was just about to bookmark an eBay listing of her Battle Packs figure with Cameron, but I'll wait for this instead (since I have zero use for Cameron). Sad about the lack of light up shoes
That Miz figure is my life right now. Ever since he debuted that obnoxious jacket last year, I wanted it as a figure haha. I might buy two to headswap Sandow. Love, love, love the white attire choice here and new upside down WWE logos. The OCD in me appreciates that considering we're getting new WWE logo turnbuckles soon.. I... just like to match
Entrance Set looks cool as hell. I'm probably gonna have to mod it for my needs (to make the stage bigger), but $55 is a fair price. Does anyone know if it holds other tablets or just iPad? I was under the impression the app is for iPad? Confused lol.
Let's pray The Ascension get some screaming headscans by the time their Elites roll around. True, I don't like those kinds of scans, but if there's one team that NEEDS that, it's them. Those expressions on Konnor and Viktor look like they're reading the newspaper -- not being born and bred to rip and shred.
All in all, cool reveals. Nice to see the NXT focus in full swing here, too. Makes me confident I'll get Sasha, Enzo/Colin/Carmella, Alexa, and Joe in the lines next yr.
