Back in MY day, we didn't have San Diego Comic Con! We got ToyFair and we were in the dark until the next February.
(That is to say, I've been here a LOT longer than all of you guys... combined).

I must've got them switched up. My bad Jakks was only ever at Toyfair and later Ringsidefest! Which doesn't make sense cause they were closer to San Diego. Mattel brought wrestling to SDCC first, which I would argue is the reason why their first exclusive (Taker) didn't sell well - people weren't used to it. If they revisited the concept now I'm sure it would be huge! |
