Excellent products but lots of problems, just got Hof Eddie few days ago, his right leg thigh had no movement, placed under hot water and still had no movement, had to slice it open, now just picked up rusev, great figure but, his head fell right off, the core piece inside the head was warped and would only allow the head to fit on very loosely, had to heat up the plastic and re-shape it for the head to snap on, kind of a hassle the past week with Mattel, anyone else having problems like this lately?

Jakks had issues if arms falling off and bad QC issues with paint and 2 left hands/feet.
Their BCA line had a WC issue of neck pegs cracking and rubber splitting.
The R3 line had WC issues of the finger joints seperating.
Hasbro had QC issues with sorings snapping, paint apps, and seam splits.
It happens. All toy companies have QC issues. They are so small in comparission with good, quality figures, that it isn't a "Stop what we are doing" QC issue.

With recent product, I've been lucky other than a few stuck or warped joints, but all have been easy fixes with hot/cold water.
One thing that comes to mind though now that I think of it is loose hips. Those are the worst

Same problem with Rusev. Took it out of the package for my nephews display and the head fell right off.

I've had over 5 figures broken out of the box this year. I don't like sending to mattel for vouchers but I can't be buying $24 figures multiple times a month for them to be broken immediately

Even the packaging has slipped in quality. Feels like it's made of construction paper and creases easily.

I've only had one figure break right out of the package, and that was WM 27 Stone Cold. His leg snapped right off. Only other problems I've had was a few minor paint problems, loose feet (almost everyone has that problem at some point), and the one time my Iron Shiek had part of his shoe backwards.

I definitely have a to-do list for broken Mattel figures, only a couple of them were my fault(botched headswap, pulled out the ring part of the peg), the rest were just, "whoops, that's broken" incidents.
I got Eddie yesterday and had the same problem, I think it's gold plastic/paint they used. I fixed it by using a hair dryer directly above the knee joints for 30 second intervals until they were floppy and loose, and flexed the heck out of them until they were fluid.
I've had this happen to a bunch of Neca figures in the past(Alien Xenomorphs), the articulation is either totally hindered or some the factory QC workers were looking the other way and assembled the figure backwards. Just don't use it for too long(period of several minutes) or you might deform or mess up the paint, Mattel figures seem less likely to do that though since I've baked a figure with a sculpey head on top.

How'd you do that without the figure melting?

I've had a few sloppy paint apps and a few tough joints but that is about it so I'll consider myself lucky

I've been disappointed in newer figures, because Mattel is using a new spongier plastic with quite a strong odor. I've seen it with E35 HHH, Toys R Us Bray, the BP Ultimate Warrior, and the RSC Shawn Michaels. Also, the Razor I got from RSC was like that, but the one I got from Wal-Mart was not. It makes me sad because I love this line so much, but if it keeps up, I'll have to stop collecting all together. Higher prices and poorer quality; that's exactly what happened to Jakks. Does anyone know if the HOF2, and the Horsemen pack are like this?

My only complaints are paint aps. Otherwise, haven't really had any bad luck with any figures as far as heads falling off...
