Owens beats Cena clean. Something Rusev couldn't do for a half year. I really feel bad for the guy. Cena completely buried him when he was red hot, he loses his manager, he gets injured, then someone who is wrestling their first ever match on the main roster does what he couldn't do in multiple matches, beat Cena clean. Hope he manages to recover. I still think he's talented enough to one day carry the title. I guess I can only feel so bad for him though. After all, he does still get to sleep with Lana every night.

Rusev did beat Cena at Fastlane though in the first US Title match.
Cena will still get the best of Owens. And this isn't me being an Owens hater, or anything, just every feud Cena has been in, Cena always gets the last laugh and the big win.
Its was Cena does.

I didn't mind John Cena defeating Rusev at WrestleMania to even the score, but to have him beat him two more times? That just makes Rusev look like a bitch.

He didn't get the last laugh/big win when he was feuding with Sheamus in 2011. So there's a small chance Owens will get the last laugh. |

Since becoming "the man" of the company, only Khali, Shawn Michaels, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar have done that. Rusev kicked Cena in the balls at Fast Lane. |

I think, generally speaking, Cena feuds don't stop soon enough. Rusev's should have ended at Mania (even though I disagree with Cena going over) and Owens' feud with him should have ended tonight.

Lest we forget Rusev made Cena pass the  out and won clean at Fast Lane He then went on to lose 3 re matches in a row Owens could very well be on that same path. Win the first, then lose a ton. Because in Cenas mind that's still putting someone over |

Other than the internet wrestling fans, I feel like not many people are going to connect the two. I don't think it makes Rusev look bad, I think it just makes Owens look really good. Owens is better than Cena who is better than Rusev.

Yes, he did, but what is obvious now is that the feud isn't over what with them already pushing another out in 13 days time now - like Owens, Rusev walked out the first match against Cena head held-high, everyone here praising it and saying how Cena was finally putting people over, how Rusev looked a million bucks, blah, blah, blah. Then three PPVs later... The same could still happen to Owens, and it ing should not!! He's clearly a future player, but damn if Cena is just gonna be here ruining all these future players whilst they're still in the MIDCARD then , I dont know, whats the point. I hope Owens doesn't end up being another Rusev, or Bray, or Ryback, or countless others - I hope he gets the best out of this feud, gets the outta there after MITB and ges straight for Reigns or something. |

Rusev is great, and I really hope he sticks around for a long time as a top heel.
But, he's no Kevin Owens.
John Cena is no Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens now needs to have a Brock Lesnar esque run of dominance.

I agree. I like Rusev, he plays his role well, and is physically imposing. This is why I will never like Kevin Owens. A short chubby tub of goo without an ounce of muscle and a little boy face being booked like a monster when much much more impressive, believable people like Rusev, Bray Wyatt, (I am still trying to black out that night Cena destroyed the entire Wyatt Family with ease), and even going back guys like Edge aren't booked nearly as strong. I'm fine with being in the minority, even if I'm in the minority of one, but I still don't see what is so great about Owens. Rusev was impressive enough to believably carry his run of dominance for a year. He doesn't deserve the flack that he's getting, and he CERTAINLY doesn't suck. I hope he gets well soon and returns in a much better storyline than this silly one with Ziggler and Lana.
