Kofi Kingston = Mr Money In The Bank?

Kofi was being elevated towards the back end of 2009. He destroyed a race car and had a mega boom drop and was getting over at the next level, it was awesome. Then Kofi messed up a spot during one of his matches with Orton and Orton threw a ing hissy fit in the middle of the ring, called him stupid and stomped around. We literally didn't hear Kofi speak for about 3 years. I'm an Orton fan but the entire situation was ridiculous and a huge missed opportunity on Kofi. Which should come as no surprise given Orton's history with Mr. Anderson as well, I suppose.

To the point, Kofi isn't winning MITB. He's in there with Ziggler so they have guys for big spots. Roman Reigns is the only guy winning the case. I'm sure he'll use it at SummerSlam and that will be the end of the Rollins' run. I won't complain, too much, but nothing has really changed with Reigns in the last few months. He's more over, in some places, but from an actual performance standpoint he's the exact same game.

Randy's feud with kofi was pointless.it wasn't even ortons car kofi messed up.

Kofi or any other african american wrestler will never be wwe champion. pedro morales, alberto del rio, rey mystero,eddie guerrero there are your hispanic wrestlers. the Rock- african america/sumoan race won the big one but no other athletes ever. WWE has proven before and are still proving that they are racist. they will let any wrestler win any other belts but not the major prize.

I sense either Reigns wins and turns heel or Reigns wins and pulls a John Cena/RVD and issues the challenge ahead of time.

I seriosuly think people are over thinking his match with Lesnar. No one though Stan stansky was getting a push when he went against Ryback. This is the same scenario jobber vs beast.

Plus New Day are annoying as hell people want to see them get messed up. The only way Kofi is gonna win this is if New Day come out and carry Kingston up the ladder.

Edit: now there is only 1 top title I dont see many wrestlers from the mod-card getting the strap, we won't have people like Kane, Christian, Khali, Ziggler, Swagger in the main event scene.
With the world heavyweight title they could get away with giving it to the upper mid card guys and hold the WWE title for the "serious" contenders. I think the IC title is the furthest Kofi will get.

I do look forward to The New Day break up, ive been banging on about Kofi's heel work for years and hope he gets a singles run as a heel. His face work seems to be the generic "im just glad to be here" speil which really grinds my gears.

Hell no. Kofi is the perennial overachiever having more title reigns that anyone can bother to care for or count let alone remember. Kofi's spot in the roster is purely that, a spot that perform spots in any ladder/money in the bank/rumble/battle royal/multi-man match. He is entirely a transitional champion that has no significance on the roster and just sits in the mid card until a spot is required or to uselessly hold a belt.
