Nope. A new guy coming up from developmental and winning is one thing. That's an individual who has essentially graduated to the big time. But if it's a main roster vs developmental roster feud, then the main roster wins. The feud ends one of two ways:
1) The developmental roster whose show is taped in front of a few hundred fans is already equal/superior to the guys who are headlining WrestleMania, which screws up the entire concept of what the developmental system is for -- getting wrestlers ready for the big time.
2) The main roster wins, and people complain.
It's fine for fantasy booking and video game universe, but a terrible idea to do in reality.

I like the idea of WWE vs NXT, but it may be pointless to have these guys work 1 WWE PPV then return to NXT, but i also think itd be too much too soon if all 5 NXT guys were called up after the match.
So im kinda lost as to what their pay off would be if they won. Owens working NXT and WWE seems to make sense as it seems like he's transitioning.
Maybe they could do a 4 v 4 match for #1 contendership? Example Owens, Breeze, Blake and Murphy Vs Orton, Zigger and PTP if team NXT win they get a shot at WWE titles (world, IC/US and tag) if they win the title they hold their spot on raw, if they loose they go stay in NXT.
If team WWE win then obviously their next contenders for their respective titles.

I wouldn't mind seeing the return of the Brand Extention with the NXT SuperStars drafted every year after WrestleMania. I'd like to see General Managers, Championship Titles designated to Raw or Smackdown exclusively, and of course the Bragging Rights Pay Per View.
I wouldn't want to see WWE vs. NXT. "Pro" teams shouldn't face "College" teams. It would only make the "Pros" look bad. Remember Team WWE vs. The Nexus!?
What I would love to see is TNA vs. ROH!!
