At least that's how it used to be, people love the bad guy these days. Joker is more popular than Batman. Vegeta is more popular than Goku and etc.

I would rather have seen Owens win, but these two work so damn well together. That isn't going to hurt Owens like it did to Rusev, but if they make Cena win the third (and/or 4th) match, there really is no hope.

I just hate how they have to tout this as "John Cena's redemption"
It's perfectly okay for him to lose. They need to realize that. There's no need for him to "redeem" all of his two losses per year.

Great match, but not quite as good as the first.
Cena's win is totally fine if this leads to Owens beating Cena for the title in the inevitable rubber match.
And that should be at Summerslam, not whatever is in July.

I REALLY wanted Owens to be that guy. The one that Cena just can't beat. Let him struggle for once and then give him his win. IMO there's more money to be made that way.
