I cringe a lot!! Here's one example. I bought my Ultra Deluxe Undisputed WWE World Championship Title Belt. I spent $800 on it. It arrived on the Thursday right before Mother's Day of 2012...I spent double that on her that weekend.

When I started dating my wife, I told her I have something to show her. So I took her to my room and she first saw my collection of CDs. I have about 300+ CDs in my collection. She said, "that's it??" I replied, "No..." and proceeded to take out two boxes. In the boxes were 20 kids sized Jakks WWE Championship Title Belts. I told her, "this is my thing." She was cool with it, my collection grew ever since, and we lived happily ever after. By the way, her thing...designer purses. I can imagined that is a very expensive hobby!

my girl helps me find figures. either checks out the selection if I'm not with her or even picks up random stuff I've talked about. her thing is star wars figures, so we both help each other out.

My GF collections toys like me so she is completely fine with my collection. She even searches for me when I'm stuck at work.

My girl supports my hobby. Hell she even buys me some lol. She does think my hogan collection is a little obsessive and wonders why I need multiples. Chicks will never get it lol. I'm like cuz hulk rules babe. Ask her why SHE needs multiples. She'll get it. You wont hear a complaint again.

Chick here. My boyfriend also likes wrestling but the figures sort of baffled him at first. The first figure I ever bought was actually supposed to be a gift for him but he was pretty "eh" on it so I kept it for myself and gradually caught the bug from there. Once my collection grew past a small handful of figures, I guess he figured out it was going to be a "thing" now and got used to it. He'll help me figure hunt and last Christmas he bought me a couple Elites I'd been wanting.

Have told only two of the girls I was dating about it and both didn't mind it. I hide them in tubs that conveniently slide underneath my bed and typically don't bring it up with girls I bring home but I haven't had a bad incident yet. I make almost all of them watch wrestling with me though.

My wife is really cool about it, and will go hunting with me. She always jokes because whenever we go to a store, the first place we always end up is the toy aisle. The only time she'll get mad is if money is tight and I pre-order something on RSC...but it's so hard to resist! Especially when worried about something going on back order lol I'm 25 and we've been together for almost 8 years, and will be married 2 years this October. We just had our first child (boy) in April and today was his first trip to Toys R Us/Babies R Us. We looked for baby stuff and then I looked for my stuff We joke about how we'll end up buying 2 of everything, one for me and one for my son. But honestly, I can't wait to be able to do all of that father/son stuff.

Since I really started buying and collecting about five years ago, I've had everything from doesn't care, or seems attract to it, or acting sort of uncomfortable to completely weirded out. I'm an adult male. I collect wrestling figures. I enjoy the heck out of it. Not looking to get married in my twenties so I'm sure by the that time it won't cause any problems. But for now, if she doesn't like it, I hate it for her.

My wife doesn't care too much about it. but my 1 year old coming to 2 years old daughter loves to play with them.
I never showed her wrestling, so she had no idea what they're 'supposed' to do. She stands them up, sits them down, put them to sleep, make them hug each other, bathe them, make them take a dump.
When my wife asked her what kind of toys she wants, she said 'toys like daddy's'. Lol.

Have been with my wife going on 11 years, married going on 8 years.
Her and my in-laws are great about it. Supportive and have helped me with things.
My birthday 5-6 years ago, the in-laws gave me the cash to pick up a gi joe uss flagg that I wanted. Wife always grabs me figures and such for special occasions and the such. Puts up with me and numerous friends a month for our get togethers for ppv's. Hell she even bought us 3rd row seats for MITB this year.

My wife doesnt like it, but she tolerates it as she knows its my thing. We all have something that the next person doesnt get. This is mine.

I love this thread!! Really enjoying the stories and conversations. Good to see something positive for a change and everyone participating and not bashing one another. Glad to see my fellow collectors have the support of their spouse/significant other. And to those that don't have the support, remember that, βit ain't nothin to cut that bitch off!!β Ha ha jk.

My wife says she would rather me spend money on figures than alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and so forth ...although with the way things are going, having a crack habit would probably be a lot cheaper!
