I know some of you figure heads are also pretty heavy into autograph collecting so I figured I'd put (yet another) autograph signing post together. Got to meet one of my all time favorites in New Jersey this afternoon. Drove 4.5 hours each way but you won't catch me complaining. Here are the figs I got signed by Shawn: I was never crazy about this figure but I snatched one up once I knew I would be meeting him Next is one of my favorite all-time Mattel figures, elite 19 HBK Also one of my favorites. I was stoked when I found out this figure was going to be released in time for the signing today: The grand daddy of all HBK figures. This picture does it no justice. The sparkling gold paint pen looks 1000x better in person: I also had a few belts signed by Shawn while I was there: Here's my Winged Eagle belt: the other end is signed by Bret Hart: Also got him to sign my Intercontinental strap: Former Intercontinental champs Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and Pat Patterson signed it as well (Patterson kept messing up his name and dropped about 5 F-bombs. He was laughing and enjoying himself though. The sig is a little sloppy but it comes with a cool story so I'm fine with that: Just for good measure here's the signed HBK I already own. Got is as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend's parents this past year: Mick Foley was also at today's show. Had him signed e17: I brought an e14 Booker T with me to get signed. I actually bought it to get signed at an event a few months ago but Booker no-showed both times. He's available for sale if anyone is interested. I don't collect MOC unless it's autographed so I don't really need him. I'd rather see someone who REALLY wants him in their collection to have him rather than collect dust in my closet.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics!

I had 4 auto's in block #1 and two more in the "second chance" group. They kept telling me to wait in line twice lol. I told them I was in no rush and I would just come back at 12:00 and get them all at once.

That's a really awesome collection, I'm surprised you got that much stuff signed usually places only let you get 1-2 items autographed and that's it.

This is probably a really stupid question but I have never been to a meet and great. Why are they all signed with a different colored sharpie? Also I just thought it was like 1 or 2 items.
Either way freaking awesome.

What was Shawn like? Also, super awesome stuff bro, I'm jelous. He was cool. The crew running the event handled everything very fast so I didn't get much time to talk to him. He had no problem swapping paint pens for each figure. He was friendly to everyone in line and was happy to hear that the Barber Shop Window altercation is the most memorable wrestling moment from my childhood. That scene is what really sucked me into the drama in pro wrestling. Up until that point I just thought it was a bunch of dudes fighting one another and that's it haha.

Either way freaking awesome. I always bring my own paint pens to events. They cost a couple bucks each but they looks really nice on the plastic. 1000000x better than a regular Sharpie. I always get really bright colors so the signatures really pop when I put them on display in my wrestling room. That's just my personal preference though. Some people use basic sharpies and some people match the color to the figure. Some places have limits. This event had a max of 6 items (i believe). I bought 3 tickets for 2 items each.

Makes sense also I love when people get paint markers to get stuff signed it really does make the signature pop. Some places for some reason won't let you use paint markers which pisses me off since I paid for the ticket and I should be able to get my items signed the way I want it. I was very dissapointed when Stan Lee signed my Spider man figure with a black sharpie. -.- I bought a red paint marker to get it signed and they wouldn't let me use it, those bastards.

Wasnt sure if I should go with gold or white but I think I made the right choice. Glad you enjoyed meeting Shawn as well!

Those autographs are great, nice figures as well! What was meeting Billy Gunn like? Billy and road dogg were super cool. Very fun and laid back. Cracking jokes, posing for pics, chopping crotchets, you name it and those 2 did it. They even recorded video clips for some guys website for him. Billy was JACKED. the guy has been taking great care of himself. Side note: Bart Gunn was on the other side of him so he was working double time. New age outlaw pics on one side and smoking gunns pics on the other.
