I usually enjoy your work...but that is some scumbag sh** right there....
any of the customizers who have been frequenting these boards since the AFR days know I hate decals....but to take someone else's handpainted work and make a decal out of it WITHOUT GIVING CREDIT TO THE CUSTOMIZER is some low sh**.
..and they way you refer to this as painting f***ing plastic toys just sounds like you don't even enjoy doing this and like you just do it for the money...

I see no problem with borrowing a recipe, but ripping off someone's original artwork is lowbrow. I will nolonger be a supporter of a plagerist.

So please let me try to explain this: - my customer wants me create this attire - i've searched the net for proper ref-pics - i got some pics online and from a fellow figurecollector - one of those pics showed YOUR custom - i couldn't see any hint that this was your custom, Jason! - sure, after checking your current pics and some comparission they look really familiar... - come on, i gave credit to everyone in the past if i've borrowed ideas from another customizers! - check my post, i gave credit to Skribbel and to the other customizer who did the paintjob and made the coat on the USA singlet - why should i ignore YOUR work if i knew it was yours? - yes, i've used your artwork on my custom, right! - yes i didn't gave credit for this artwork since i didn't know it was yours until your "comment" in this thread... What else can i way but: "Sorry Jason! Sorry for using your artwork on my custom without giving you the credit that you deserve!" sandy: you got me wrong. I absolutely love making customfigures BUT at least they are just fu**ing toys and NOT worth the drama. Many things in life are much more important. Btw: what's better than earning money with a hobby that you love? As far as the Beyondo-Case goes: He made an awesome looking WCW Glacier years ago and made is entry at the RSC-Custom-Contest with this custom. He got the 2nd place and bitches me and my work since i made my own Glacier version with removeable armour. Even then i gave full credit to Alex Thunder Customs for making the awesome sculpey armour on my Glacier...but Beyondo and his littel "Sidekick" called me a faker etc. Ok,enough said. I hope we can settle this damn dispute right here and now by saying: "I'm really sorry!"

I have to tell you. It's extremely disappointing when a person lacks the talent and professional courtesy (time and time again), to the point that he shamelessly replicates another person's work. This is absolutely abominable. Did you merely take my image from the singlet and make it into a decal? I hand-painted that image back in June of 2008, and here it is nearly four years later, and my image is slapped on the front of your work. You're absolutely a hack and all the times people called you out for stealing ideas, head choices, replicating the exact figure someone else made, I just sat back and shook my head. You're ridiculous. that sucks dude

that is the problem though...people are too afraid of being creative on this board cuz all they think of is profit....
...so that is the end result.
You don't have 'customizers'...(and I use that word very loosely)....trying to modify heads or do full paintjobs on action figures....
..you have guys now who RELY on decals and use manufactured sculpts from jakks or mattel instead of thinking outside the box.
this board f***ing sucks now. it used to be amazing. guys like jay and axehennig still catch my eye....but everything else just seems to be a bootleg version of whatever is popular on ebay...

^^^ I agree with you on that But I don't think all people are being lazy, I reckon most people just don't know what to do or how to do it. I really believe if we want this bored back to the way it used to be we together need to put the effort into it rather than just watching it waste away

Oh, this is where people are focusing their attention instead of on the actual customs....

The Boogeyman looks really good. Did you use his Jakks head or did you make one for the scale? Great job as usual!

It's the RA Jakks head. The neck and arm pieces are from this RA Boogeyman too.

I don't think I have ever posted on the custom's board... but after reading Axe's response, I need to chime in.
If you don't want your "work replicated" then don't post it on the internet for everyone to see. As far as I see, your artwork for the Warrior was available in the public domain for everyone to use the minute you decided to post it on these forums.
Keep in mind, also, these are toys. Just toys.
Get over yourself.
With that said, both of you do fine work, whether with paint or with decals. There are many ways to skin a cat. Keep up the good work and don't take yourself too seriously.

Well done brother, as someone who has done a few Warriors himself I can certainly appreciate the great attention to detail. Although Warrior decided he had had enough of my efforts and shut my ass down, I am glad to see people customizing him are still alive and well.
