I think it could very well make sense. Honestly with the way he's worded things, and what he's dealt with, I truly think he'll get a "one more match" at WM, with someone like Owens, Balor or Zayn to put them over, and send him out with a phenomenal match...
and that will be it. He's still getting figures. Still in 2k Games. Still on WWE TV and doing commercials for them. I just feel if he comes back -- it wont be for a whole lot.
I would actually love to see a slow-built feud/one-off match with Bryan/Owens. One pop up power bomb to finish it, send him out on the stretcher, Owens looks like a monster, and D Bry can leave on a reasonable note.

"I lost millions of dollars" lol...yea im sure you need it Bret. I've never understood why people bash others for talking about money. Bret made millions. He's set for a few lifetimes. But if we were in the same situation we'd be upset too if we had the chance to make more and lost out on it. Can't blame Bret for being upset over it.

Funny how some are crapping on Bret, he is just giving his opinion like you or me and if someone knows better (doesnt mean its true) its him. I really hope Daniel can return but it was really reckless of him to still bump like he used to. This.

I've got to agree with Bret here. I'll be honest, I didn't think Bryan would return from the last injury, but when he did, he was like a watered down version of what he was before. At this point, for the sake of his health, he needs to retire. I'm a big Bryan fan, but his big break just came far too late in the day, sadly.

People are really crapping on Bret here.
I don't think he's giving his opinion from an M.D. standpoint. Bret didn't say "yeah, I looked at the X-Rays and he's fooked".
He's giving his opinion from a wrestler's standpoint. Losing feeling in your extremities is a VERY big deal. It retired Edge. With the strict wellness testing and everything else WWE has in place I'm sure it'll be very difficult for Daniel Bryan to come back unless they can fix it.
Again, I've been worried since day 1 because WWE has been so secretive in regard to his injury. Is it neck? Is it concussion? Is it nerves? Is it something else? They have released very little info.

It's very hard to tell either way with the information we have.

I agree with those saying Bryan should go to a submission/mat based performance style. I love both him and the things he does in the ring, but it's clear that his current approach lacks sustainability.

And Bryan screwed Bryan. It's the circle of life. And it moves us all.

I think you'll see a one more match type of thing and he'll have that send off at WM not in a main event but in a big match or something.
He's never going back to full time. Sucks. Just as his star really shined bright he was gone.

Bret Hart spoke on the Tyson Kidd injury and said Samoa Joe's Muscle Buster is dangerous.
– During a recent interview with SI.com and spoke about Tyson Kidd’s recent injury and that he feels Samoa Joe’s muscle buster is dangerous. Here is what he had to say…
“I only know that he’s hurt pretty bad and they’re crossing their fingers. I’m not sure if he’s going to need surgery, but it seems to me there was a lot of poor planning involved in that injury. I don’t know whose fault it is or why an injury like that happened, but someone is accountable. The WWE has done a lot in the last few years to improve conditions for wrestlers. They have doctors there and they give wrestlers adequate time to prepare, but in looking at that happened with Tyson Kidd, clearly there is still a lot of room for improvement. It’s (Joe’s Muscle Buster) extremely dangerous. The move that Samoa Joe did was reckless, and the way they rushed that match beforehand in the back without giving Tyson time to prepare was mistake. Tyson is, pound for pound, one of the best wrestlers in the world. And that includes his mind. If you went behind the scenes at WWE, Tyson is an intricate piece of so many other matches. It’s a shame that a guy who is that talented and given so much to the company is hurt, but I just hope it’s not so serious that his career is over.” Credit spam.com

Does anybody know if this move injured anybody else? in TNA or the indies? I'm asking genuinely btw....because I don't know. Its just I have never heard of it.

Brett Hart isn't a medical professional. I wouldn't take his opinion seriously No, he's not. But he was professional wrestler for almost 30 years and therefore I'm more inclined to believe what he's saying with regards to professional wrestling injuries.

Daniel Bryan is like Rafael Nadal. Both risked their health with their excessive style and are now paying for it. Only difference being that Nadal is (one of) the greatest of all time and not nearly as overrated.

Some of these comments are ridiculous. Is it suddenly "cool" to hate on Bret now or something?

While I do think that Bret is pretty miserable and bitter about things in general, he does seem to have lightened up more lately. But I also think it's a pretty valid opinion about Bryan. I have shared the same feeling since he got hurt. The type of injury they are describing sounds really bad, and is the type of injury that people don't generally recover well from. I thought his comeback seemed rushed, and turns out, it was. Honestly I will be shocked if Bryan comes back and has any sort of productive in ring career. And that sucks.
