I was disappointed with season 2 especially the finale. I won't get into it for those who haven't actually watched it yet.

I'm sure there will be a season 3 but I'll certainly have low expectations.
This season was okay but I don't really think it should be winning many Emmys..

I think the story was strong and they were doing some things that intentionally went against the grain of what they did the first season, but the final episode was really just mailed in and felt like every other show/movie we've seen before. The very ending in particularly was the most disappointing of the cliches, meaning for a show of this kind. The every new beginning, comes from some other beginnings end type of deal doesn't really work for the horrific undertone of the show. I literally rolled my eyes. This is actually the first I've said about the ending since it aired. Just really underwhelming imo. I went "Meh, well I guess it's over..."

I knew it was mailed in as soon as Velcoro figured out who Birdman was. I rewatched the episode and he literally figures it out in 5 seconds. And then they go to his house and all the evidence pointing to him being Casperes killer is literally on a table.
