Ah right. I don't think there's any need for the original poster to reply. What are they meant to say? I've never really seen someone reply to replies from others. I would imagine it would just push down other peoples diaries. I think everyone is grateful for replies anyway.

The only time I can recall replying to a reply is when there is a question in the reply that needs answering or clarification. The reply for reply system essentially, to me, offers a response to the original reply.

I just know that when I replied to an effort in the text fed board the op replied to me, which was cool.

I was only joking. Night harm done.
I've said it plenty of times over the years (damn I'm old). If your doing this for replies your doing it all wrong. Write because you want to. Replies are just a Bonus.
I don't feel like I need to answer back to replies. Just know if you do reply, I'm very grateful.

Btw, I hope nobody is taking this the wrong way. It's a good conversation to have and i like hearing what others think.
Just in case someone interprets this chat as something else.

Hey guys it's Shifty... many ideas, few executed, sound familiar? Ahh, who cares.
Just posted a new diary (well, I laid the thread last summer and never got around to it!): WWE 2009. When I was last on here, that was a modern diary! Plan on running it until at least Survivor Series sooooo here goes!. Got some good stuff planned, and need a creative outlet atm that isn't uni work haha. So here I am.
I'll return any replies. That said, like Red Dragon says, I'm doing it more for me than anything else!
It seems pretty quiet on here these days... shame that!

Just to chime in here while I'm logged in re: replies, interest level, etc. To answer your question Jimmy Toucan (+ The Flipout) , I am under the belief that replies can be a great way to deliver constructive criticism (although my constructive criticism was oftentimes too harsh admittedly), allowing the OP to improve their booking/writing/presentation. That said, I never felt it was vital to reply to a reply, believing that it ruins the flow of a thread. Think about it like this: you post a show, but then say, you receive 4 replies. So then you go back and make another post addressing these replies from others. Maybe some people think you've posted a show only to come in and be disappointed? Something like that. Anyway, that's why I never bothered unless it was a frequently asked question or recurring comment. Also while I'm here - I've been way too busy to do anything since my interest dipped last summer, and my work in the TV industry increased (several TV episodes broadcast on TV, live news work, a documentary submitted for an award, and my final major project ongoing, no less...). But I'm considering coming in and doing a WWF 2000, with the idea being that it is devoid of most detailed writing I have been known to have in recent years. Is there interest in this? The board's dead, I'm not expecting responses from anybody. But if there's interest, I'm highly considering it.

Thanks for the reply, DTP. I'll get one back to you soon.
Sounds like me and you are doing very similar degrees. I'm studying broadcast journalism at Salford; so much fun!
I've only got three months left, with only my major project to complete... Can't wait to get stuck in.
Congratulations on getting broadcast; I know how tough that is, you must be working your butt off.
Edit: I'd like to read the 2000 diary too - always enjoyed your writing

Not too far from me either. Salford is probably the future for me, for obvious reasons (Media City etc.) After deadlines and crap I should try come down and we could shoot some documentary stuff or something idk Eh regional TV is a very starved industry, very underpopulated at where I volunteer at (I can't even get money out of them god bless). But nonetheless yes, it's been an eventful year. Congrats to you on your endeavours, too.

Do you read other stuff here like Wfwf, Text Feds and Fantasy booking? I actually started out in Text Feds, circa 2007-2008 time. Briefly posted shows in both TextFed/Fantasy booking simultaneously. Been primarily on this board since say, late 2008.

I've had a very strange idea for a diary for some time now but it's not based on EWR or TEW, instead based off a different wrestling game to simulate the results... would that still fall under Wrestling Sims?
