Hey guys, just signed up to the board after being on and off around here for years. I was a Big time jakks collector, having collecting wrestling figures for 20 plus years it was hard to get back into it after classic superstars line ended and having to pretty much start over with mattels. However, like many of us, it was pretty obvious that it was just a matter of time before we had to cave in, seeing all the fantastic work mattel is putting up, especially recently. I will share collection pics soon, as I've yet to take proper pictures. Anyway, enough with the little back story. I have noticed that a 98 attitude taker has been sorely missed in this current line. The Undertaker has always been an all time favorite of mine, especially in this era, so I took it into my own hands to create this interpretation of the character. Hope you enjoy.

We used to have a member, deviousdillenger, who would always request this era Taker, always.
What ever happened to that guy?

I actually really like that good stuff man. What did you use to draw the designs on the shirt ?
But please Mattel. When you do make one, make sure the shirt is molded and doesn't clasp on and off.

I modded the dx shirt that came with I believe billy gunn. I don't think it makes a difference as Im pretty sure road dog and triple h come with the same one. Cut the top portion of the shirt to create the "v" effect. I then sewed the sides together to create a more tapered appearance. A complete repaint to his attire to add the little details and there you have it. The rest is just a basic taker body, with a repainted summer slam undertaker scan. Made his face more realistically flesh toned as he wasn't as pale in that era. Also painted his hair with brown highlights. The paint job does wonders to That scan, really brings out his likeness that much more.

Sick taker Johnb , joyfully you we see Mattel make an official one. & Welcome to the forums! Edit: Taker is one of my all time favorites too and I must say, I love the hair texture you did, it's nearly perfect! We used to have a member, deviousdillenger, who would always request this era Taker, always. What ever happened to that guy? Banned, wish he was still around. Cool dude for sure.

Awesome custom, I was always disappointed that Jakks never really made this version of Taker in their Classic line. And how weird that Mattel has basically done the same thing by constantly skipping over this important look. This will always be how I remember Undertaker best.

Thanks for the kinds words guys. Also, I used model master acrylic paint for the details on the shirt.
