I took a chance on Walmart's website once just to see if I could get the Sting before RSC (as I want three but only pre-ordered 1 like an idiot (1 to keep MOC, 1 to remove the Coat and keep MOC, and 1 to take out of the box and display)). Sent me two Hogans. I'll just play the waiting game with RSC Plus, I know it'll be mint because I paid the extra shipping fee. I don't normally think like this, but with stores, there's always the chance the card is damaged or some less than ethical person replaces the figure or steals parts. I'd rather be insured that my first Sting figure is MOC. He's the only reason I started collecting this past year.

On a side note DM's are titled as Super Elites on the shelves

Sting isn't on WalMart.com it lists 3 items. Defining Moments Hulk Hogan Defining Moments Razor Ramon Defining Moments Figure Assortmemt
None said Sting. Many hoped the third was Sting but the wording of the listing using Assortmemt made many of us figure it would be either Hogan or Razor.

Wasn't touching that assortment option. He will be found at retail eventually. I went crazy for Hogan and Razor and now I see Razor everywhere.

No where on that listing does it say that it's Sting. It says "Defining Moments ASSORTMENT". As in an ASSORTMENT of Defining Moments figures. It even says in the customer Q&A that it's not Sting. How is it false advertising if it doesn't advertise Sting anywhere on that page? Because you searched "WWE Sting" and that was the first thing to pop up? So? So does Jerry Lawler and Sin Cara. Are they Sting? No? Well, then.
A lack of reading comprehension on your part is not a fail on Walmart's. And I dislike Walmart.

Hold up hold up, let's give the benefit of the doubt. It might not say Sting now, but did it say Sting when you ordered? or have his picture

Go back the the first Sting thread I think it was around page 11 or 12 the website listing came up and it never said Sting just Defining Moments Assortment. That was members just speculating that it would be Sting. It never said Sting in the listing though.

It's not false advertising because it doesn't actually say Sting. However he does make a good point because searching "Defining Moments Sting" brings up that exact listing and none of the other DM figures show up. It also does not show up in the listing when you search "Defining Moments Hogan" or "Defining Moments Razor", it ONLY shows when you search Sting or leave their names out. It is throwing people off when there are already listings specifically for DM Hulk and Razor and this mystery listing is the first result when you add in the name Sting into your search terms.

I'm on my desktop and just searched both terms on Walmart.com and that mystery DM listing with no photo did not appear for me.

It's at the top and the very first listing when you specifically search with "Sting" thrown in. It makes perfect sense that people would assume that might be the Sting figure. Either way, it's still not false advertising but isn't stupid of someone to assume that's the Sting figure and take their chances ordering it. People on here just love to be hostile. (and I'm not talking about you btw Edgefan )

Stupid people might believe whole-heartedly that it will definitely be Sting, but they're stupid. People who aren't stupid would be more skeptical when nothing on the actual listing has any indication of it being Sting (inlcuding the Q&A section with a user saying THIS IS NOT STING). Skeptics rule!
