Vince certainly has WM plans for Cena so I would hope that after his US title run Cena takes a break from WWE TV to go make a movie. Maybe if he's away for a month or two then he won't seem so stale when he gets his inevitable WM push.

Anything but the world title picture.
Cena is more interesting now than he has been......ever. To put him back in the world title picture would be a huge mistake.
We've seen that sh*t 15 times already. It's time to see something different.

Still, I think Tag Division would be very interesting, but yeah, he's on the way to #16 for Wrestlemania time. |

I want to assume his 16th world championship reign is coming next year.
What would really be nice is if he kept on working with the midcarders and helping to elevate them. He could also go after the Intercontinental Championship and try to liven up that title picture. For the rest of 2015, I want to see him in the midcard. He's been making a killing there, and this is the first time in years any of Cena's work has gotten acclaim.

I'd be into him being thrown into the tag title picture.
Maybe work a way to have him team with Cesaro... Just a freaking beast of a team.
Still, hard to see anything other than going back for the WWE title.

US title re-match  But after that? Probably gonna be something to do with the Authority / World title again, I'm hoping to see Reigns vs Cena sometime soon. |

Facing Roman Reigns for the world title. That's the only money match WWE has on the full-time roster, although Cena's midcard run has hurt his drawing power a bit, and if they keep Lugering Reigns they'll screw it up.
Either way, world title #16 is where he should go. And being able to beat people with one finisher.

I don't see Cena losing that US Title any time soon though.
If Brock Lesnar destroys Seth Rollins (I hope not being a Seth fan - but being a realist I don't see how Brock can not win) then Brock will clearly be taking time off again. If the WWE Title is missing, the US Champion will be seen as the main draw, and that is Cena. If Kevin Owens wins the US Title I will be shocked. Not cause I don't like Owens, but because I just can't picture Cena NOT being US Champion if Brock takes the gold this Sunday.

Either finish his Triple Crown by winning the IC title, or go onto WWE Championship #16. I'd like to see him do both.

After John Cena is done with the U.S Title I'd like to see him retire, stop being a dick, and finally go put a ring on Nikki Bella and let her have babies. That would be amazing. I think he should go after the IC Title since he has never had it but if not that then I think he is going to tie Flair's record.. |
