These 2 Giants came in the mail this week from ebay.
I never thought I would add this figure to my collection. When it was released, I never saw it in stores. Everytime I've seen it on the secondary market its always been too expensive for my taste. I had even bought an extra WresteMania 31 Kane to use to make a custom red Kane. Until this week, when I found one on Ebay and the seller was asking $50 plus shipping, or best offer. Well I wasn't gonna pay $50, but decided to make an offer. I figured I would make an offer for $30, I didn't expect the seller to take it, but figured if he didn't I would just make my custom like I had planned. But he accepted it.
So ladies and gentlemen, without further ado........I present to you.
Elite 12 Kane!!!
Since the WrestleMania 31 Kane and Undertaker figures have come out, I have used their backing card as my background. But I thought for Kane maybe my old background would be more fitting. So here is my Kane collection.
Since I already had the extra black Kane I decided to add the head from my basic Kane. Not sure why but I like the look of the red mask with the black attire. I also gave him the open glove hand so he can chokeslam with the gloved hand.
UPDATE 7/19/2015: i found Mattel's Sting yesterday and have changed the pictures of my Monday Night War shelf to show him instead of my old Jakks custom.
As I said I found Sting yesterday at Toys R Us. There was a lady set up near the service desk that was giving away $10 Toys R Us gift cards for signing up for a trial subscription of The Tennessean paper. She talked with us for a bit and we considered it but decided against it. So she offered us 2 cards. So we got the one month trial of the paper and walked away with 2 $10 gift cards. I made it to the figures and found Sting. So after my gift cards and using the 20% code that someone had posted earlier this week, Sting cost me $1.84.
I've seen others on here sharing pictures of their collections. And since I just finished reorganizing my shelves, I thought I would share mine. This isn't my entire collection, there's still other figures in totes. Most of these are Mattels, however I do have some Jakks mixed in here and there as placeholders. There's also a few customs in there too. Let me know what you guys think.
1st up is my Old School/Hasbro inspired/Hogan Era shelf.
Next on the top of my bookcase is my Warrior collection. This was put up shortly after he died. Eventually I'm gonna change it out but enjoy seeing it up there so I've left it.
I just put this shelf together. It is half New Generation and half early Attitude Era/1997ish.
Here is my current era shelf.
I just put this one together too. This is my Monday Night War/Attitude Era shelf.
And although this isn't Mattel or WWE related, this is my X-Men/Turtles shelf.
While I was redoing my shelves and taking pictures, I decided to get some pictures of my Mattel Undertaker collection too.
