I got this from WrestleZone:
It was too violent for wrestling? Okay then.

A true curb stomp is violent and fatal. Promoting its likeness to millions, including children, seems absurd. I get what he's saying here.

I'll miss it because the move was unique and cool to see, but Seth does have a point since kids can be very impressionable.

it makes sense, but why wasn't this stated 4 months ago when it happened? that would have really quieted everyone down for the most part. the biggest complaint was that they just took it away with ZERO explanation...and most people assumed it was because vince said it was too dangerous for wrestlers which led to more bitching.

That is a curb stomp. Rollins exaggerates it as a wrestling maneuver, which of course could prove fatal if executed incorrectly. I meant that the curb stomp that it was originated from expressed a deeper and darker meaning to the move.

So WWE is slowly reverting back to the early 80's of wrestling. I expect blurred chair shots soon.
I could throw out moves, punches, kicks, etc that could be too real for wrestling. But, isn't the whole point of this supposed to blur the lines of reality? We all lnow the severity of a curb stomp. Thats why it was over on Lesnar... WTF???

It makes sense. They could have changed the name and altered the move by having Rollins jump on the back more. Oh well, maybe it's best not to water it down.

Pretty sure if you tried to pedigree someone IRL there'd be a larger chance of fatality or serious injury in comparison to a "curb stomp" which is a modified version anyway.

Well good, because THAT was the only move that was a concern lol. If they didn't want kids trying things that may hurt them they should probably just close the company lol.

If I was a kid during this era of wrestling.. I'd definitely try the curb stomp in the yard with my friends.

Too late Vince kids have already saw it, u cant just pretend it never happened.
Yet Vince is the master of pretending things never happened we just gotta deal with it.

I have to be honest, I don't really understand anyone siding with WWE here. People have died in the ring. Kids have accidentally killed other kids with wrestling moves. Just about anything done in the ring can be fatal, especially if somebody doesn't know what they are doing. It doesn't make much sense to single or one move.

Powerbomb DDT Pedigree Heart Punch Piledriver Stunner/RKO
That's just off the top of my head...but there are most likely dozens of wrestling moves that COULD kill if done improperly.

It was literally the best finisher in years. It's ing wrestling. More people have been injured and even died from dropkicks than they have from the curb stomp. Change the name if you have to, but just use the move.
