I'd be all for Cesaro as champ.

certainly an optimist, i'd probably have just gotten angry over vince's condescension but cesaro turned it into a positive challenge. good little interview building the character of cesaro.

Always helps to have workout buddies in high places. Although Cesaro has stepped up his game in the last few weeks too, which has been good to see. Hopefully it lasts this time. If Cesaro makes it as a singles babyface and Tyson does come back, a feud between them could work well with the jealousy over success angle.

legitimately shocked at the "honesty". the way Cesaro talks in interviews makes me really question what it is they have him doing in promos because they make it seem like he can't speak properly, yet here he is sitting with Cole and talking like a human, and everything is fine.
the fact that he went up to Vince after the interview and said "challenge accepted" is incredible. for YEARS all we've ever heard is that Vince loves guys who stand up for themselves. so if Cesaro is doing the right things it's good for us all.
This guy could legitimately be one of the greatest all time. up there with the ortons and bret harts and booker t's....guys who are just legitimate main event talent and consistently delivered. random comparisons but my point is that Cesaro might just be the single best in-ring talent this company has and has had in a LONG time. He's easily in the top 5 without debate, his ability inside the ring is what makes him marketable and "connectable"....the WWE has a real chance to do something special with this guy. I truly hope they do.

I've never understood the love of Cesaro. I've always found him to be pretty darn bland.

When he first started in WWE, I honestly didn't care for him but I quickly changed my opinion on him and now he is one of my favorites.

I was always curious about Cesaro as a singles face. It seems to be working out better for him, which is great.

There is no reason for Cesaro not to be a featured player in the main event scene in the WWE.

He may not be able to cur the best "wrestling" promos, but when he's allowed to just speak naturally, he shines.
Whether it be him using his own humor before Wrestlemania, or his earnest speaking here. They need to let him be himself and he'll go right to the top.

He's already top 3 on the main roster in terms of wrestling ability. His mic skills have improved. He's more suited for a babyface role with his moveset and he's starting to find his niche with that. Super over with a ton of the audience and finally coming around on the women and children demographics.
The dude has all the tools to be the biggest star in the company the next 10 years. Could fill the Batista/Angle/Rock role of the late 2010s-early 2020s.

Cesaro is a cash cow waiting to explode. I've noticed that Cesaro has been stepping up his game and his most recent matches is a good example. What really helped Cesaro a lot was his feud with Sami Zayn on NXT. Those two have incredible chemistry. The matches between John Cena and Cesaro have been amazing. Cesaro can hang with the likes of a John Cena. If the machine would give Cesaro the time to shine, he will exceed expectations. Not to mention, Cesaro as a World Champion, he can be that big international star the WWE is looking for.
The WWE needs more non-Americans on top. Kevin Owns and Sami Zayn could help the WWE market Canada. Meanwhile Finn Bálor and Cesaro could help market Europe. When things aren't doing so well domestically, you have your international stars to help generate the revenue needed abroad.
To sum it up, the WWE doesn't know how much of a goldmine Cesaro is. He can provide amazing matches and is a very marketable name.

Cesaro has been my favorite since the first time I saw him wrestle. There are many examples of people who aren't great on the mic, but are great in the ring who make it to the top and there's no reason Cesaro can't get there.
He could easily play a snobby, better and smarter than everyone European (I would love to see him become US Champ and replace the belt with the EU Title - sort of like Lance Storm and the Canadian title.) He also has a friendly smile and moves that appeal to kids and a face nickname (Swiss Superman) so he can play face or heel. It doesn't hurt that he looks very similar to Jason Statham.

I said a few weeks back, I'd really like to see Cesaro adopt Angle's wrestling machine gimmick. Dude can go and I really hope this is the beginning of him breaking out.
I also think he should win the IC title. A IC feud with Rusev, Barrett, Dallas, & Stardust could do wonders for everyone.
