I still have no idea what's wrong with him? Sheamus gave him a concussion and by WWE keeping him on the road the concussion turned into a career threatening injury Wow, I thought it was something to do with the concussion... That sucks, such a simple thing to put him out of action for so long. Goddammit Sheamus.

He needs to take several years off to fully recover. According to who exactly? If he comes back to fast he risks injury. This is strickly my opinion.

Bryan said on Cheap Heat this week that he's been cleared by an independent doctor, but not by WWE's. So, it's now just a matter of getting the two doctors on the same page.

Chasing down burglars gets boring after a while.

That sucks, such a simple thing to put him out of action for so long. That's the problem though, people tend to think of a concussion as a "simple thing", when it's really not.

Had a he taken a little time off after getting the concussion I think he'd be fine but he kept working with it.

I just dont see him coming back; and even if he does he will NEVER be what he was, the roster has dramatically changed so much, even in just the last year. If Bryan was to return, where could he go? I think the fans have kinda moved on now

funny thing is.. for the past couple WM's, Vince wanted to put Bryan vs Sheamus... well... he finally got Bryan vs Sheamus after WM and look what happened....
incidentally on Busted Open Bryan was interviewed and said he was cleared by an independent doctor but not WWE's doctors.

I love Daniel Bryan to death and there's no denying that he'll pretty much always be over. This all happened at such a sucky time but he's still got a lot left in him besides the unfortunate few injures that he's recently gotten. His love for the business is obviously still there 100% and it seems like he doesn't wanna stop, I think that he will probably continue and then eventually find the perfect place to end, but he'd have to make sure to be careful in ring during that time span. I am pretty sure he'll be back soon, I'd honestly probably guess the latest would be mid 2016. Showing up at Summerslam would be really cool, Rumble would be more realistic and make more sense though.
He's a driven guy, and we know he really wants to get an opportunity at facing Lesnar among other things like putting on great matches with the NXT talent. If he is forced to retire soon or decides to any time soon, I think it would be awesome if he was a part of training guys in the performance center.

I would say legally the WWE is covered if he passes their IMPACT testing and they have the other doctor's sign off (if his work with the NFL has made him an expert). Sounds more like they are worried if he gets back in the ring and ever gets hurt again they lawyers for the various wrestlers will pounce. Then again Orton has had a few concussions as well and he gets a pass. Sounds like Bryan is either going to have to wait out his contract and head to whatever indy promotion is still around in 3 years or sue to be released.

He should return after or at Wrestlemania 32. Summerslam and Royal Rumble are a bit too soon for a guy who is prone to injuries so often.

I think people need to accept although he may come back he isn't a solid choice for WWE's future, where as a guy like Reigns is. Tbh a lot of D-Bry fans need to tone down as they boo whenever he doesn't win, but an underdog is supposed to surprise and he wouldn't be an underdog if he always won. Bryan is loved because an underdog therefore he shouldn't be shoved down our throats otherwise he will end up like Cena.
