i am a car salesman, i deal with these people on a daily basis. they yell at us, cuss us out and call us crackers also. the reason why people dont do anything is because people are afraid of damaging the other possessions. alot of the ignorant people also kill people. we are afraid of getting killed or beat up everything is about racism now a days. if a white officer kills a black person, its all over the news. if a black person kills a white officer, people dont care and it doesnt get reported. i never understood this either That's what gives them a bad name exactly, if they dont want to get called animals or anything, dont act like one and people wont say anything

There are many levels of racism. Hogan expressed reservations about his daughter's boyfriend and used a word that is intrinsically demeaning. He didn't just talk about "that guy", he made a specific, offensive allusion to the man's skin tone. While that isn't the same level of hate as people who hoist a Nazi flag or wish their neighborhood was free of people with dark skin, it is still undeniably racist. His reservations stemmed from the content of the boy's character and not the color of his skin though. He also didn't like that she was dating him to further her career. Therefore Hogan is not a racist. He admitted his racism to a degree. People who understand the blood-drenched stain on American history don't use that word. People who understand the divisive nature of demeaning slurs wouldn't dream of making light of the atrocities that those kind of words represent. While I don't believe that Hogan is a card-carrying white supremacist, there is simply no way to argue that Hogan's comments were not racially insensitive and ignorant.

You can't pretend racism just goes one way. If calling someone a "stupid white boy" isn't offensive, then I suppose calling somebody a "stupid black guy" isn't, either? Hulknation said someone called him a "white boy", not a "stupid white boy". That was something I typed up response to another poster So, to clarify here, if calling some a "white boy" is offensive, calling someone a "black guy" is also offensive? Because neither of those terms are offensive.

How has this thread somehow taken a turn for the even worse? I see an astounding level of racism from some posters in this thread. I doubt that it's going to last much longer.

I would encourage all of you to look up the definitions of the words racism and racist.

And to add to it someone has linked this thread to pop culture sites. I wonder how long before Gawker posts a "more proof wrestling fans are backwards hicks" story.
