Punisher s2 is just excellent. Omg. I didn’t realize it was out yet until last night...so I am four episodes into it and am loving it so far.

I think Episode 9 is my favorite so far. Every episode just gets better and better.

Punisher Season 2, Episode 10. I had to end my binge here. I need a few hours to collect myself.

I think I am starting episode 8 when we get back home. Had to stop because my wife wanted us to run son errands before the storm hits and we are snowed in.

I have now watched the entire season 2. I feel so... Satisfied? The only thing that could have made this any better was a really gruesome murdering of any of the main villains. But the more I think about how it ended, the more okay I am with everything that went down. That final scene is going to keep me satisfied and wanting more for the rest of time. If this was the end, and there is no season 3, I'm happy with how it went. And I totally ugly cried at the terminal scene. I ain't tough. I'll write a more in depth thoughts/review comment once I figure out how to do the spoiler tag thingy's on here.

Alright. Punisher season 2. Full season thoughts and review, I guess. Spoilers for the entire season ahead! So, I went into this thinking this is the last hurrah for the Punisher on Netflix. So it was already bittersweet when I sat down to watch it. For reference, I sat alone in complete darkness to watch this, so that I had no distractions whatsoever. I felt the way the show started with a bloodied Frank and a terrified Amy really set the tone instantly for what the first half of this season was. I think the first 3-4 episodes are just brilliant. The sassy, yet scared Amy trying to get away from Frank any chance she could and failing everytime was sort of a comedic relief in a show that is hard to find any humor in. I personally think Amy was the best character in the entire season simply because of how she evolves. In the span of 10 hours of television she goes from scared an in need of help constantly to going for John Pilgrim with a shotgun all on her own. Speaking of John Pilgrim, I felt like the whole religious 'cult' looking out for their gay son so he can be president or whatever felt kinda... Flat? I honestly didn't give a sh't about John's family, if they dropped dead on the spot I wouldn't even scoffed. So his entire motive, doing this so that he can redeem himself infront of God and be with his family just was... Mehh. I could have done without it. But I did like Pilgrim as a like, I don't know, just this stalking presense. Kinda like Tyrant or Nemesis in the early Resident Evil games. You stick around for too long, he'll come. You know? And then there is Billy and the shrink. Boy did I hate her after a few episodes. Everything she came on screen I just sighed. This was some Joker-Harley Quinn sh't that I really didn't care for. I think Billy was brilliant as ever, he really 'sold' the insanity. The scars grew on me more and more and by the time this season was peaking I was totally onboard. I think the way he went was brilliant. Curtis calling Frank so Frank could finally finish the job was a worthy end. And shooting Billy mid-sentense was the icing on the cake, that is so Punisher. Billy gets top marks for the way he was written this season. Brilliant preformance. And then there's Frank Castle. Brilliant as ever. Brutal as ever. Badass as ever. I really don't need to say more. Jon Bernthal's Punisher is the best cast role in the entire MCU. Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Downey's Iron Man shortly after. I got no words for how good Punisher is. 10/10 preformance, as expected. Mahoney and Madani played their part well, but you can tell these are really just time fillers. They don't serve a purpose in a sense that Punisher couldn't have done all of it himself. But Madani is pretty to look at, so, I'm fine with it. Curtis was a nice moral compass for Frank, even if it seemed like he let Frank down sometimes, he was still there when he needed him, no matter what. Hell of a support character. Scenes like Frank putting zipties on Amy to keep her from running away, having Amy stitch his ass together again helped build their relationship early on and it only grew. By the time they said goodbye it was like father-daughter. I think the best scene in the entire series is when Amy is trying to impress Frank with what he has taught her and tries to disarm him, only to get her ass kicked and yelled at. Frank is scared. Frank is scared because he knows he could have killed her right then and there and it would be like losing his family all over. Super powerful scene. The same with the scene when Frank says he can no longer hear his children's laughter. Dagger right in the heart that stuff. Seeing characters like Turk and Karen is always fun. The way everything went down in the season finale was satisfying. Schultz's deathes were great, Amy and Frank's goodbye was great. Madani getting a new job, Billy's death... Frank putting on a new vest and finally the f**king trenchcoat. Brilliant. The best ending I could have imagined. No cliffhangers, nothing. If this is it, great. If it isn't, even better.
But, I think in the end, the best thing about Punisher season 2 is Amy's dream. Marine salvage. She did achieve her dream without ever really noticing. She salvaged one marine.

Oh man, forgot some stuff. The scene when Amy shoots a guy for the first time, going into shock over the fact that she killed someone, but Frank convincing her that she didn't followed by putting a bullet in his head, that sh't is so good. He'd do anything for that little girl. It's so great. This side of the Punisher is just as good as the side that crushes someone's eyeballs.

That is the one thing I didn’t care for. I never liked it in the comics or on the figures. I think it suits him well. I mean, cold night of murdering, what else you gonna wear? White gloves, boots and ammo belt of course! That’s the look I grew I up with. I am just not a fan of the trench coat because it blocks the belt and some of the skull.

Also just finished Punisher, and felt it was amazing for alot of the reasons previously stated. I really hope somehow, someway, someday this character or show can return. Bernthal IS The Punisher.

Saw a Reddit post with a theory for Avengers: Endgame that the version of Thanos we will see for most of the movie is a "2012" version from the time during the invasion n NYC in Avengers 1. The premise being that the remaining members are going back in time to either gather the Infinity Stones before Thanos knows where they are or to even kill Thanos. Thoughts?

Tons of action figure leaks for Endgame now, those Quantum suits looks pretty dope.
