Fantastic Four holding a 9%.. NINE PERCENT. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=123708Because when you screw around to the point you cause 100k in damages to the house Fox rented for you, disappear for hours at a time when you should be working, and give such crappy direction that they have to hire help for you -- all leading to you screwing around so much you lose out on a dream job in a Star Wars film...CLEARLY the best thing to do is to throw the studio behind the movie under the bus on Twitter like a 15 year old that just lost his job at McDonalds for pissing in the shake machine... I hope this movie bombs. For the single, SOLE reason that it decimates Josh Trank's career.

His direction is the sole reason the film is the abomination that it is.

Trank Wreck: The true story of how one self deprecating douche bag became the laughing stock of the comic book and entertainment world, all prior to the release of his actual film. If you're shocked by any of this stuff, you probably just haven't been paying attention.

It wasn't HORRIBLE... it was bad, yes, but not HORRIBLE. There's a few redeemable qualities.
It is edited SO PISS POORLY, that you can very obviously tell what Trank directed and what he didn't. The start and end feel like two completely separate movies.
Ask me any questions you have about the film, I'll answer them if you guys aren't planning on checking it out yourselves.

So I had my free viewing.....didn't post this earlier because I was on my phone.
The reshoots are glaringly obvious IMO(Maras hair is the clue). I thought personally there was very little to like. The payoff was utterly dreadful for this day and age and the dialogue was painful. There was some stuff to like in the first hour of the movie but still.....tut tut Trank. And Jordan can talk all the trash about how his casting was inspired....but it wasn't. He brought nothing unique to the movie.....except his character from Chronicle.
Knowles and the crew at AICN are panning it but are still kissing Tranks ass and blaming it on the studio. I think the truth lies someplace in the middle. But Tranks attitude has stank from day 1.....and those people he said "would go see it anyway" whilst laughing at their concerns may have spoken.
Theres a dude on Superherohype that has said from day 1 that "comic book fans don't matter" when it comes to these movies as he furiously defended Trank.....IMO they do.

Is Batman and Robin not generally liked? I guess I'm in the minority that liked it then lol Basically hot Uma Thurman is the only redeeming quality. That might be why I enjoyed it so much lol

They're tracking it somewhere around 50 mil for the weekend. I'm honestly expecting it to do about 30 personally. And that has a lot to do with little kids "Oh, superheroes cool!" going to see it, and Trank being so loved by a small group. His fans are somehow as rabid as Edgar Wrights...both of which I don't understand the love for, but at least with Wright he's accomplished more than well -- nothing at all, at least. I had someone last night on FB compare him to David Fincher. That Josh Trank is like a young David Fincher. Get. The f**k. Out.

Box Office Mojo is tracking it at 45 mil but reckons under the FURIOUS negativity it will wilt and earn far less. Both of Tim Storys FF movies will end up making FAR more than this does. speaking of Tim Story....for all his flaws he knew that the FF should be FUN. He knew Richards has brains but is a gentle kind soul too......Teller looks like he is reading off a cue card most of the time..... Another thing that bugged me was when Trank & Kinberg threw Story under the bus a few weeks back. Storys 1st FF movie opened to a 61 mill weekend in 2005....which was DAMN good 10 years ago.....and I tell ya this Fox.....at least Story "got" the dynamic......Trank hasn't a clue and Storys movies look like masterpieces beside this turd.

I get the whole idea of directors/writers needing the gratification of being "Creative" with their work in Hollywood. BUT...with that said, if they feel EXTREMEMELY passionate about that aspect of movie making, then perhaps super heroes movies are not the thing for them. Am I wrong that we just want to see live action version of these characters close to what they are on the pages of the comics?

People keep citing Nolans bat movies on other sites,fb etc ad stuff that didn't stick rigidly to the source. Crucial difference being? Those were damn good movies. Trank's FF isn't....at all.

From my understanding, Nolan's Batman movies were respectful to the comic books though.
HUGE difference between that and FF.

I'm so glad this movie failed miserably and now the X-Men franchise is hopefully saved from being associated with this horrible mess. FOX would be insane to want to do a crossover now.

After seeing FF I can say I have no effin clue how the two would cross. The upper echelons of the military have never seen anything like them.....IMO there's no indication mutants are around from the scientific & military reactions. Thing is.....had Trank not threw out dropping nods to some of the negative zones more famous residents or outright shown them in a stinger? There was room for a crossover.....and a damn fine one too...but Trank torpedoed that idea and Fox let him.

I actually kind of enjoyed it, there was a hell of a lot wrong with it but I've seen a lot of movies that where worse.
I think there's so much in the film that could be right or would have been great if it where done differently. Whether it be Fox or Trank, they both made the film and they both made it kind of right but a lot wrong. Johnny was awful casting and the character was played crapely and Reed no range of motion but everyone else I thought was good. For the complaints I saw before hand, Doom turned out quite well and overall the film had a a lot of potential but unfortunately no one was capable of using it.

Doom could've been an awful lot worse!! Definitely, I heard a lot about him being a hacker and what not so I was worried but probably my favourite scene was his "long walk" without giving away to much. Although he didn't have a lot of character depth, then again no one did really. I do hope this is the last FF from Fox though.
