There is just SO much talent on the roster right now, and Sting has at least a couple of years left where he could put on an entertaining match with someone. I'd love to see Sting vs _________ (pick from a variety of guys) even just as a special attraction. It just annoys me that we are being cheated out of good wrestling for seemingly no reason I don't understand why they wouldn't use him? He's going to be there 2 days before that anyway? And what is the purpose of having this be 4 hours? Are we going to have to suffer through concerts in order to make this 4 hours?

They already sold out SummerSlam. Why not wait to have Sting come in at Battleground or later? It makes sense to have Wyatt and Harper face Reigns and Ambrose, THEN add an additional person at the next event. Good for WWE for showing some self-restrain for once...

That's like saying "why bother using Undertaker at WrestleMania every year because they are going to sell a lot of tickets no matter what.....they should use him at Fastlane instead". They had SummerSlam sold out before they even brought back Undertaker,...It's the importance of the show. They are making SummerSlam 4 hours, it's the Wrestlemania of the summer. The biggest people should be on it. Sting should be on it. Unless WWE has decided to either: A) try and throw off the internet marks who have been talking about this for a month. B) maybe Sting won't be in a match, but maybe he will make a surprise appearance.

Didn't really see the point of forcing Sting and a 3rd member of the Wyatt Family into a 6-man tag so Roman could look strong, but I was looking forward to a possible Wyatt-Sting feud that could have came out of it.
Oh well, Creative would have messed it up somehow...

Apples to oranges. You totally ignored the second part of my post where I explained my reasoning, but whatever. You like Sting...a lot...I get it.

I think the idea was to have Dean, Roman, Sting vs Bray, Harper, and mystery new partner. But it looks like Ambrose is moving onto a program with Big Show instead. Which means we will probably get Roman vs Bray with Harper banned from ringside. New member helps Wyatt win again and the family is reborn. If that is the case then the tag match was most likely scrapped till down the road. Hence why Sting is not being brought in.
I was hoping he would be there to end the show in a face off with Taker. But it doesn't mean he still couldn't pop up soon and set the stage.

I don't really care. To be honest, I've seen all I need to see of WWE Sting. That's not his fault, but regardless. The match was Triple H, to me, was miserable.

4 hours is incredibly long for a one match PPV.

I ignored the other part of your post because it didn't make any sense. You said you are glad WWE are waiting to bring Sting in and that they should save him for Battleground or later. Battleground was 2 weeks ago, so I'm not clear on your timeline because you basically said you want WWE to keep waiting for something that happened 2 weeks ago. But yeah, I want Sting back ASAP.

My bad, I meant Night of Champions. All of their shows are the same to me.

Lesnar/Taker, Cena/Rollins, Owens/Cesaro, Ziggler/Rusuv, Ambrose & Reigns/Wyatt & Harper, Ryback/Show/Miz, Orton/Shesmus, 4 Way Tag, divas revolution, and Neville/Stardust with The Green Arrow involved sounds like a pretty good 4 hour PPV to me. Sure I could do without say Orton/Sheamus but calling it a one match PPV is kind of silly.
Who is to say Sting won't show up but just isn't wrestling? If Sting comes out after Taker/Lesnar and points his bat at Taker I think most of you would all mark out. I also wouldn't be surprised if The Rock shows up and does a segment. Sure it might take 20-25 mins but the crowd will be into it the entire time.

I'm really 50/50 on wanting to see Sting wrestle again, I mean I dont see who they'd want him to go against no one seems suitable. Plus he looks pretty bad.
