Not really a botch, but the design of Elite 23 JBL. Seems the figure is too small, has a bad headscan, and the hair is too dark for me. One of the first Elites I purchased when I started collecting Mattels. I've wanted a JBL since back in the Jakks days, but I consider it the worst Mattel I own. I did a blind pre order for that one. I was a huge JBL fan In 04/05 and had been dying for a Mattel. When I saw the torso I was gutted. I hardly touch the figure now. It needs to stay on display with jacket :/

I'll agree the DM Warrior face 100% ruins the figure Traded away my loose because I just hate the figure so much
Not making Big John Studd is Mattel's biggest miss I can't get over the fact that we never got him in the legends line while he was under contract He's still under contract yet we continue to see b.s. repaints that are unnecessary and Bill even said he's not gonna make him for at least a long time (aka when his contract expires)
Watch damn WM1 will ya brother

With so many semi legends that they've made and continue to make it's really hard to believe that they still haven't made a Big John Studd. I missed where Bill said they wouldn't make him for a long time. Are you serious Bill? !!

there's a ton...because they've made soooo many figures by now.
overall...i wasn't satisfied with the DX figs as a whole [e23 HHH, e26 Road Dogg, e27 Billy Gunn, e33 X-Pac]
if i had to pick just 1 botch...elite 26's Road Dogg having a big bulky rubber shirt. The rest of the figure is pretty good, but that shirt ruins it

Not releasing Hollywood Hogan. How is that a Mattel "botch?" You can thank Hogan's dumb ass for that. Must be a Hogan fan...

It's not going to stop me from buying, but I do admit it upset me a little: Elite 38 Macho. I mean, I knew we weren't getting a jacket like his DM, and I know we probably won't get one like the DM again, but I would've at least settled with a shirt instead of the rib tape, like this: Like I said, it won't stop me from buying it, or making a custom shirt lol it was just a bit frustrating because it's one of my biggest wants.

The new DM Taker. Not happy with the choice and feel they could of put that figure in the Elite line without the cape. Should of had another DM figure in the works I believe in case things fell through. And now we might get another rushed decision/figure to replace Hollywood Hogan. This... Except I would rather them not work on figures they don't have the rights too... And put the $$$ into stuff that we can one day buy.

To be 100% honest, creating basics. I own a ton and there are so many that I wish can have elite articulation. I know it'd be a pain in the ass do get rid of them because of all the parts already. But I wish we could've gotten more elites in a series pumped out more. For a 14.99 price. That'd be awesome.

i.word.com/idictionary/niggleAnd now that we've had our language lesson for the day, the inconsistent neck pegs are my nitpick. I hate how one Cena has a normal neck and then the next has his ears resting on his collarbone. And this happens a lot. I haven't bought boppv wrestlemania 30 Undertaker because of it. Also, not as big of a deal, but I hate how all torsos are basically the sane height and they just stretch legs to gain height. What a gangly freak Orton looks like.

-Elite 29 Erick Rowan's jumpsuit, which essentially made the figure a bulky block of green plastic. -Elite 36 DDP. Just an overall disappointment for those who have the Legends one. -Signature Series Dean Ambrose who looks to stand at about the same height as Sin Cara. -Scott Hall having the kneepad mould Razor Ramon should have and vice versa.

While it wasn't a Botch as much as anything but I gotta say Elite 16 Nash/Diesel. I never did get them and now they are sky high in price
