I looked through a few cases and only found one with good paint apps. It was also the only one with messed up packaging. Thankfully I collect loose but yeah this one is a really spotty set.

Hey guys, i have been very back and forth on this pack. I have seen from many threads that the paint jobs and warping are a huge issue with the set. Has there been any improvements with recent resupply? I keep all my figures MOC because I really think the packaging adds alot to the figures, so i know I could live with loose articulation. I just would like to know everyone's opinion about the quality of the items for how much they cost. Thanks! I literally purchased a total of 4 boxes, swapping in and out before narrowing down to one.

Mine have strange feet. Sort of warped. They stand fine though.

All the targets in my area have at least 3 of the set at each location, so I have my options to find the best one. I will see what I can get my hands on!

I kept mine moc. I had a choice between 4, and picked the one with the least package damaging and best paint apps. But for the price, I'd say it's definitely worth it.

Yeah OKAY nevermind. I just noticed my Ric Flair doesn't have his initials on the trunks. God damnit.

If they are staying MOC then does it really matter if they are a bit warped? Quality..... I dunno. It depends on how you look at it. 4 elite figures for the price is a freaking steal. Hands down. However the warping issue grinds my gears. If you take the time to look through the figures, you can usually see any major imperfections fairly easily. Some of the small detail issues that some people obsess over are harder to see. If you are worried about taking them out of the package and standing, I can speak for MY set only and say that Tully and Arn had the worst of the warps but still stood up just fine. However, I fixed mine by taking a few minutes, boiling some water, pulling the figs apart at the bottom knee joint. Using a small drill bit to clean out the holes of the thighs and then putting the figure back together. Also, I boil the ankles and even up the gaps. Sometimes you can see that the feet on one leg sit further from the calf/shin whereas one sits close. I usually even that up. The drill bit in the holes really does well for me. I noticed that on my Horsemen set, the holes on the legs looked kind of wonky.

So I just picked up the set. Alot of them had some of the fogures with some legs or boots popping off. The one I purchased seems to have good paint apps and while the arn and tully have that wierd leg issue, they look pretty good MOC. Thanks again guys!

All my Horsemen figures were in great condition, if I have some extra cash down the line I might pick up another.

I'd also pick up a couple more just to get some spare body types to around with for customs. It doesn't seem very easy to me to find the Arn type torso without paying too much.

If you're keeping them MIB, there should be no issue. Paint work I can understand, and I'll admit that I haven't looked at them closely enough to see anything out of the norm for Mattel quality control. I'm waiting on the sets to hit clearance before I think about picking one up.
If you're taking them out of packaging, there's this thing called hot water. It will fix any warped legs, ankles, feet, etc. Look into it.

All of my sets were fine. Opened them all to make customs. Repackaged one set with belts and a custom background to be signed later.

I've gone back and forth too. I hope they are being released At Smyths so I can see them in person but they're not on the website

I had a target gift card that covered pretty much all of the cost so I don't feel so bad spending the money lol.
