It's extremely sad to know that the Ultimate Warrior, Dusty Rhodes, and now Roddy Piper have all died in a short span of two years. More include Verne Gagne, Buddy Landel, Mae Young, Jimmy Del Ray, and Mabel, all in the years 2014 and 2015. God.

You watch these people entertain you and take you into a different world, and you begin to think they're immortal.

I know some people were getting touching about WWE taking a bit of time to post it, but my guess is they wanted to 100% be sure before actually putting anything up. The way I look at it with Piper and WWE, they're family. You don't always see eye to eye with family, you sometimes have big disagreements with them, but in the end, you're still family.

WWE's Twitter page promotes Daniel Bryan's book right after their not so heartfelt update about Piper. Hmmmmm? Are we posting random crap for a reason...to knock the Piper post down to the bottom of the page. WWE is cruel people. Remember that.

Piper was hardly even close to being in my generation, I'm a young person and member on the board and I just have an extreme love for wrestling and the best there is.
Heels are the wrestlers we appreciate the most usually and the innovator of the villains in pro wrestling is gone. He was so influential to wrestling and it's really sad that he's gone.

The guy just died, and all some of you people can do is ask for a ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing figure? Did you learn nothing from the Hogan fallout? A genuinely big surprise to read this. About six years ago, some friends and I made a well-meaning wrestling death pool. It's become somewhat notorious because NO ONE from the categorized list has bite the big one yet. Well, that was until today. Piper, ironically enough, was on our short collective "Never Dies" list. It's a phrase that gets batted around, probably too often, but Piper was truly one of a kind. It could be tough to make heads or tails of what he was saying sometimes, but you never got the sense that the guy was phoning in a promo.

Yo this has been a bad few months for wrestling fans. Dusty, hogan n piper. my childhood is being erased... now, the first thought in my head WASN'T when will we get another figure...but I hope they do honor him and Dusty at some point down the road with DM figures that celebrate their careers.

2015: the year Rowdy Roddy Piper and Hulkamania died. In all seriousness, really sad news. Was always really entertained by him. . Don't forget the American Dream. Dang, this year has sucked...

Black day. Black day. So soon after Dusty. I've already been pretty turned off by wrestling this week, now I really think I need a break. RIP Hot Rod

Piper was like a father I never had when I was little. I'll miss him so much.

RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper!
This is definitely one of the darkest years for wrestling. First Dusty, now Piper? Man one of the best heel/face in the wrestling business. Can't believe so many of the wrestlers I've grown to watch are passing away.
