So this just happened to me about an hour ago, and I don't know how it happened, because I am like 100% sure I didn't do this.
I fell asleep at 3 am and woke up at 5:45 am and I had to use the bathroom. I wear glasses so I reached over to where they should have been but they weren't there. So I thought "maybe they fell on the floor somehow" so I turned on the light and looked but couldn't see them. Plus being that my eyes aren't the best without them, it was even harder to tell if they were there or not. But it didn't matter, I had to pee badly so I was going to the bathroom.
I am lucky that my bathroom is right across from my room, so I didn't have to walk blindly too far. I got in there and I looked at the bathroom counter and my glasses were sitting on top of it. Now that makes no sense as to how they got there.
For one, if I did happen to get up before 5:45 am, I can't see why I would take my glasses off and leave them there, and walk back without them.
Secondly, there is no way I did get up because I had to pee so bad that I know I was asleep that whole time.
Thirdly, I sleep with my bedroom door closed. I would have had to gotten up and opened it and closed it again.
So now, my theory is that my place is haunted. I have had some other weird stuff happen at night while I was sleeping (ex. TV turning off or on when it wasn't off or on, same with my Christmas lights around my room, etc.) and I always just figured that I am doing that stuff in my sleep. But I think it may be a ghost now.
And if I am doing this stuff in my sleep, that is kind of scary because I don't remember doing it, and what if I do something really severe in my sleep??
But back to my original reason for writing this, has anyone else encountered this kind of stuff?? Like stuff going missing while you sleep?? Or lights being turned on or off while you sleep with no explanation as to why or how??

My wife and I used to hear noises all the time at the place we used to live. Like random crap in the middle of the night. We heard a balloon popping, glass breaking, laughing, whimpering, the sound of chairs being knocked over, etc. Only pet we had was a cat and when I would get up to investigate (buck naked with a ruger 9mm in my hand) there was never a mess of any sort. I don't like the idea of "hauntings" but I got no explanation for that junk.

I don't believe in ghosts however, Now I've only told two of my friends about this due to I'd probably get laughed at but once me and my older cousin (only by about 8 months) were at her old house (before she moved) and we had stayed up since my younger cousin who had to have been about 4 was asleep we were about 7/8 and my older cousin who was about 11 was on the 5th floor playing WWESVR06 with his friend (I remember this because me, him, his friend, and my other cousin all made CAWS and had a faction) anyways me and my other cousin were on the second floor and our parents and there friends and some work friends were downstairs blah blah blah it was about midnight because were thug kids and were sat I'm playing with wrestling figures and she was playing with her Bratz or Barbie's or whatever, they were listening to music downstairs and we could hear it pretty loud but then it went quite we got pretty confused. The second floor was just a hallway and a corner once you got up there you'd have to turn a corner and go up a couple more stairs to the third. All the second floor had was a bathroom for everyone which was on the corner then the hallway was just for my cousin she had an office with a drawing table printer cork board and stereo the next room along was a mini bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink then the end room was her huge bedroom that could fit at least 2 king-sized beds in yet it on had 1 single bed, anyways it went real quiet then the shower turned on, we got creeped out and I went and turned it off she said sometimes that happens then the shower turned back on, then one by one down the hall way each rooms light was turned off and it got real dark suddenly the stereo in the drawing room turned on and was static like the one in Sims 2 Castaway (shout out to that game which was my childhood and I still play now) it got louder and louder and that's all we could hear the end door leading into the hallway shut and we both screamed and tried to run out I got to the door first and it shut on my face giving me two black eyes and my cousin was right behind me so when my head went back I head-butted her giving her a really small bloody nose the door was stuck and wouldn't pull open we were screaming and crying at this point like we were in Final Destination or Scream or something then the door opened and her mum walked in a went what's wrong! We were still crying and looked up the stereo had stopped the shower was off the lights were on it was normal she saw my eyes and her nose and gasped she cleaned her nose up and gave me something for my eyes then we went up to the 5th floor and played on SVR06 with her older brother and his friend that night we slept in the spare room. After that I used to get really scared over little things when I was little for about 2 years but then I realised it was probably a power outage making the stereo go static she said the shower used to go off and on and her mum was probably the one holding the door shut trying to get in when we were trying to get out.

You sure you just didn't leave them in there earlier in the night and forgot? That seems more likely than a ghost moving them.

I leave things in places all the time and forget. You probably were just thinking about something else and didn't acknowledge that you'd left them there.

No, I definitely took them off before I fell asleep. I was lying on my bed watching TV and I took them off, but them beside me on this little wooden stool that I have water at too. Wake up a few hours later, and they are gone. It definitely was a ghost, or maybe even an alien. Both are equally as frightening though!

You genuinely could have been sleepwalking or your roommate is playing a prank.

Hmm... Idk what to say but here's one of my experiences. I had this dream about a lady that lives in my building. Anyways, I was shopping for some stuff at a local deli, I look up straight at her face and she was featureless. Then I tried waking up but I couldn't move a muscle, and somehow felt like I was levitating (yet I was still dreaming that I woke up.) In my dream I was positioned without the covers and to my surprised I woke up sweating in the same exact position. Fast forward, I still have dreams of being paralzed and levitating and whatnot. Just every once in a while, while waking up to find myself profoundly sweating.
Another time I had dream that I was pulling my teeth out. The weird thing is, I actually feel the pain throughout the process. Another time I had a dream that I ate paint, and when I woke up I had this weird feeling of knowing what paint tastes like. Weird times, weird times.

Yeah stuff like this happens all the time in my new place, I was taking a leak on day and the bathroom door handle (closed) wrenched downwards, scared the piss outta me, but ghostly Joe hasn't ever hurt anyone so it doesn't bother me.

That's weird dude maybe you should video tape yourself at night and see if you catch anything. Could be a ghost or you sleep walking.
