Flair talks about the trip to Santo Domingo after he had to leave the NWA belt there. He had Piper as his back up which turned out to be a bad choice. Piper picked fights with the armed police at the event and while Flair felt lucky to get out the the arena alive and with the title, Piper was only worried about getting out with his giant bag of cocaine.
Even Piper's drug stories are classics. The man will be missed.

It's just so harrowing to hear him say "I'll never make 65 so I don't have to worry about my pension". It's like he knew It was a fair assumption on his part. His peers were already to starting to pass. It was only a matter of time sadly. |
