W3A Revolution Episode 7

Going to try not to be too critical, cause I love all the effort here. I don't review a lot of Youtube feds because it's just not a format I can tolerate that often. Your production is pretty slick, so I wanted to leave some feedback because I have checked a couple shows out and figured it was worth it to let you know.

The intro was good, and I liked the opening promo/segment. It seemed like you were able to nail those personalities quite well. My major critique would be that the talking segments weren't up there long enough. I am a super fast reader. I can speed read and have been tested at a high speed comprehension level. I prefaced with that, because I found the text up there for too short of time. It was okay on the short sentences, but on the larger blocks, it felt rushed. If I can just barely read it in time, it's too fast. I feel like you need to adjust these frames accordingly. Others may not agree or admit it, but I felt you should know.

Opening match is solid, but and this is just a critique on the Youtube format, having to listen to music is annoying. I know having no sound is annoying too, and I generally frown on grunts and groans and sound FX too, so it's sort of a no win. I also wish you had something to indicate the counting. The hand slap is fine, but a graphic would help.

Mankind giving up on the match and snapping was quite nice. Fit the character. Sick piledriver spot. Glad it stopped there, was just violent enough. I feel like Rey should be on the shelf for a bit.

Minor annoyance... The metal band that's holding the ropes together is front and center on the top rope. Hide that under the turnbuckle, or at the very least put it on a less noticeable side of the ring.

Wyatt/Cena/Swagger seg was well done. You do the entrances quite well with the music. Text is way too fast, especially for Wyatt.

IC Champ backstage seg. White text is hard to read. You had a black box under the text sporadically in the previous segment, might consider doing that all the time. Would make this segment much better, as the white text sort of blended in with the background at times.

Punk/HBK is a really solid back and forth match. The collar and elbow fight and Punk attempted cheapshot to start things out was wonderfully filmed. Love the flying clothesline, elbow drop spot from Shawn. A little stiff at times, but you are using basics. Beautiful high dropkick from Punk. A bit confusing to me that both Punk and HBK have done some heel stuff here. Punk tried a cheap shot, HBK used a foreign object (nicely shot sequence BTW) so are they both heels? Desperate to win? With no commentary, it's harder for me to follow the story or the characterizations of both.

Again, hate to gripe more, but trying to be constructive. Because you had music playing during the match, Undertaker appearing loses it's impact. Imagine if there had been the Undertaker bell toll when the lights went out. Would have had huge impact. Instead, it's awkward.

I liked the closing of the show, setting up the main event and the tug of war over the belt. Kinda weak to see Cole so easily punked out (no pun intended) but it worked for the most part. Unfortunately, the finish to the match comes off a bit like a repeat, as every match/seg on the show has had these sort of surprise attack moments. Nothing clean the whole show.

Things I really liked though: Set up for SummerSlam, several segments, interview characterizations. I liked the length of the show mach wise and pic wise.

I feel like this would be a fantastic traditional pic fed, but Youtube is holding back it's potential. Feel like this could have been a GREAT show, but the format knocked it down a couple pegs. Your mileage may vary, but there's some solid constructive criticism for ya.

Also, HBK is the heel and Punk is more of an 'anti-hero' if you will. He does his own thing, but the fans like him haha.

I agree with that point about Brie haha, Nikki on the other hand...

Damn, another show so soon?! This might be an issue. Orton promo to kick things off, I've got that Orton. Awesome figure. The Age of Orton! I kinda love Randy Orton, his character is great. Lesnar and Heyman! WHAT? Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton opens your show?! Maybe not. So did they just split up? Is there going to be another match later tonight? This is where a YouTube fed holds people back. Pretty epic way to start the show though, Lesnar and Orton are two huge names and that was an awesome little brawl. I was worried you'd put a main event to open the show, but fortunately it was saved. Mankind vs. Rey was a great match, brilliant opener. That Piledriver? Dude! Awesome spot. Cena promo was cool, a Wyatt feud isn't that interesting to me. I think it's because I can't stand Bray Wyatt and the WWE Cena feud was beyond dreadful. I'm hoping you do something cool with it, indicated by the light replacing the belt. It's off to a good start. I LOVE the lighting here. Looks so cool. Awesomely done. Ohh! Ziggler got rocked! Damn don't mess with Bryan over Nikki. That main event! Holy crap. What a match. HBK/Punk is a great match to do, and with the Undertaker taking both HHH and eventually HBK out? Damn. Punk playing mind games there with Cesaro and the belt. "The winner of the SummerSlam main event goes onto face Punk" - Punk goes on to face the champion, not the other way around! It's not Punk they're trying to get to it's the title!

Overall, another really nice show. Your matches are pretty much PPV quality here. I'm loving W3A at the moment. Following on really strong from the PPV. The only issue is the frequency of your shows. Putting them out so often isn't such a great idea. I work hard to make sure everyone gets a review, but unfortunately people struggle to get a review out nowadays, with shows every month. Doing one every week or so makes it hard to keep up with and I don't think you'll get as many reviews as people will be trying to catch up on the PPV (both nights) and then the show. Fortunately some of us getting a review out to your shows but others may struggle. I remember being told the same thing a couple years ago, I put shows out literally every 3 days lol. Looking forward to Episode 8 man!!

awesome show, not normally a watcher of Youtube feds. this was good, for a show with no string the poses are solid but as I've said on other shows without string it could benefit from a little string and such. I liked the opening promo for Orton and Lesnar that's something I wish WWE had done but I'm almost glad they didn't because I don't think their current writing team could properly execute it. I love your arena, something about it is small but really sleak and the Mysterio/Mankind match was cool. How'd you get the W3A logo thing on the entrance stage it looks cool and I've been wanting to do something similar for my RAW entrance stag (TTL entrance stage). A Swagger/Cena team up isn't something I'd expect so it should be kinda interesting/fresh to see. Gotta love the lighting and transitioning for that Wyatt Family segment of the promo that was pretty cool, and a nice set up for Cena vs Wyatt's. Interesting seeing Vince McMahon interview Daniel Bryan (although I have Taz as the ring announcer in RAW) neat segment with Ziggler and Daniels though. good Punk vs HBK match although I'm wondering, I like that Adam Cole is champ in your fed although I feel like there should be some type of head modding to make him look a little less like JoMo? also I like the Undertaker attacking Michaels bit I liked the Tombstone posing. Cole vs Cesaro looks like it could be an awesome match for summer slam. I'm hyped to see episode 8 and also see who wins at SummerSlam to face Punk.

Okay so i haven't left a review for ASW night 2 yet but I have watched both but as I'm on this one I'll do this one first..
First off I don't know how you manage to put these shows out so quickly after one another?! I agree that they maybe coming out too soon after the last ep as its hard to keep up. But never the less I enjoy your product therefore I watch.
Starts off with a good ol' brawl between the Orton and Lesnar! Loved this and I really like that e35 Orton figure, I need to get that! Like that you've added his elbow pads. I still think it's confusing having hogan be in an authorities role, yet wears his ring attire?
Nice match between mankind and Rey....ooh! Mankind snapped and now Rey gets piledrivered on the steel steps?! He's dead.
The pairing of cena And swagger is interesting. Maybe a third man will join them to take on the wyatts?
Ziggler got levelled by Bryan. But that's what happens when you make things personal Ziggler!
Punk vs HBK is like my all time dream match as they're my two favourite superstars so extra credit for that!
I enjoyed the ending as it sets up for the big one at summerslam!

Great show again man, and you're match length is just right imo. I will say though that even though that was one of my favourite raw theme songs. I much preferred you black and blue opening credits.
