This is what irritates me a little bit about the network...
On any other network; you would get some features about the legend who just passed... I understand it probably takes a few days to put this stuff together. But I would guess nothing comes. It's not really a network in that they don't react on the fly to stuff like this. They did a little with Ultimate Warrior which I thought was insanely cool. But disappointed that nothing for piper, not a compilation of his best matches, nothing. Just more divas, raw reruns, etc. Nothing unique.

We got a special on Dusty after he passed but I'm not sure how much time took place in between. We'll more than likely get something on Piper soon. It hasn't even been a week yet and it takes time to create such a thing.

Didn't it take like two weeks for us to get the Dusty special on the network? I'm sure we'll get one for Piper.

They've shown special clips of Piper in between shows on the live stream so far.

I would guess they're probably putting it together still. Maybe something next week following one of the shows or the week after. Piper has a ton of quality content on the Network. His doc is on there, shame on you if you don't own that DVD though, and he's got the Rivalries thing with Hogan. The Tuesday Night Titans with him and McMahon is literally playing right now. The tribute video is up there already. Legends House is up there. I'm sure they'll do a little more but Piper content isn't missing if you're trying to find it. Also, you have to assume they went a little bit extra for Dusty because he was a current employee of WWE and trainer in NXT, and both his sons and daughter in law are employees too. By default, Dusty was probably just going to get a little more attention period. I'm not losing sleep over it, I loved Dusty too. It's such an irrelevant to give when we've lost two of the greatest talents this business has ever seen within 2 months of each other.

They're showing him on Tuesday Night Titans right now. He's pure gold.

Did it ever cross your mind that they are in the process of planning one out ? Idk how fast you expect these things to work, but they have to schedule out their programming
Not to mention that they immediately began running "remembering Roddy Piper " clips in between almost every show right after his tragic passing. By reading the OP you'd think they've completely shunned him like scumbags. No. They are being nothing but classy.

So his time frames are way off.

They are showing Piper stuff all day today for Throwback Thursday.
They are also premiering the new "Table for Three" show, probably sooner than they had planned, because the episode features Piper.
Just, chill. They are doing plenty to honor Hot Rod.

I have a feeling that the Dusty Rhodes stuff was done way in advance. From what I heard, supposedly Dusty had cancer and was slowly dying. My guess is that Vince and the WWE knew it was just a matter of time and had everything ready for when something did happen to Dusty.
There was no way they - or anyone for that matter - would guess that Roddy Piper would drop dead last week. I am sure next week there will be something for Hot Rod.

Dusty was sick for a long time, they knew he was passing away soon so they were probably working on a special in case the worst thing happened.
Piper's death literally came out of nowhere and unlike the Warrior the WWE didn't have cameras following him everywhere the last couple days of his life.
I am positive that the WWE is putting something together to truly honor the "Hot Rod" it is probably just taking them a little while longer than the last few deaths.
