Season 2,3 & 4 remain some of the funniest sitcom stuff going......but its all downhill after that.
Because of Cox's inflated ego the thing that kept the show afloat- Chandlers & Joeys dynamic was dismantled. Its also around this time that Chandler becomes the idiot coward man against Monica's strong assured woman(that all U.S. sitcoms have) Coupled with the castration of Chandler came character development for Monica that made her utterly unlikeable.....matched her drastic change in physique.
Ross becomes less funny and more irritating while the other three just remain static except Pheobe who becomes stupider and stupider as the show progresses. It soon dawns on you that these 6 people couldn't possibly be friends with everything that happens in later seasons.
my favourite episode is still The one where Monica & Rachel lose their apartment.......man oh man its hilarious and all 5 involved are on FIRE.
Seasons 2,3 & 4 is where its at.....and my god Jennifer Aniston was hot as hell lads.

I never watched it while it was on air, now I just keep it on right before I go to bed. I never knew Paul Rudd was on the last season. I enjoy Joey he is my favorite character.

My favourite show of all time. My girlfriend and I often watch the repeats when we are on day off. I've seen season 1 of Joey also which I enjoyed but never saw season 2.

I only got into it like the last week it was airing, I used to HATE the idea of it because it was an American sitcom; BUTTTTTT after seeing only one episode I was hooked and seriously love it so much now!
I can go back and watch any episode whenever, I think I've seen every episode, but yeah I have the boxset so can watch whenever I guess haha.
I love it though, so funny, start to finish. Character-wise, I have to go with Chandler, the perfect 'funny' character, but they all work well in the group dynamic

Phoebe and Joey are my favourites, there's a Central Perk café about an hour away from my area and its completely laid out exactly the same as the one in the show and the signature couch has a huge T.V on the wall in front of it playing endless Friends episodes.

I liked this show, it wasn't a favorite but I would watch it when it would show. When it first popped up on Netlix a while back I ran through every season and didn't realize how funny the show was. I think my favorite might have been when the guys won the girls apartment, I couldn't believe nobody, including me, knew what Chandler did for a living.

I remember sitting down and watching it with my mom and dad when it was new, then once i bought my mom the dvds. Back when Tv was still a family thing.
