So Nikki escapes another PPV with the title.....that's also 3 of the big 4 PPV's of the year where she hasn't defended it. Oh joy.

whats so bad about Nikki beating aj's reign? If we're being honest Nikki deserves it tbh I'd much rather someone dedicated have the reign instead of a girl who would come out looking bored. Say what you want about the Bella's but they both have a passion for the business.
I don't see why Nikki had to lose at summer slam, I'm much more excited for this match. The last multi woman match was great so i expect this to be great too

If I've counted right, Nikki equals AJ at 295 days on the Raw before NoC. So this all but confirms she's going to break it.

I didn't want to have a mass quote riddled post. The reason for the WWE doing a 9-Diva Tag Team Elimination match is to hopefully give these women more time. I don't understand why people are complaining that the Diva's Championship isn't being defended. Be glad you are seeing nine women giving a prominent place on the card as opposed to a singles match that probably won't be good. The longer Nikki Bella holds the Diva's Championship, the more impactful it would be when Nikki loses it. Also, it is a business tactic the WWE is using to entice those same viewers to watch another PPV.
The WWE wants Nikki Bella to bump off AJ Lee as the longest reigning Diva's Champion. For a very good reason that is. People bitching about the WWE giving us a 9-Diva Tag match as opposed to a championship match goes against #GiveDivasAChance. You are giving these women some exposure being in a match such as what we're getting a SummerSlam. If the WWE would have given us a championship match, the amount of exposure these women would get would decrease. Given how SummerSlam is a four-hour affair, this match would be given ab out 10-15 minutes sans entrances. If they can time things right, this match could easily go 20.
Who would you people rather see as Diva's Champion, Nikki Bella or Kelly Kelly? I am willing to say most of you would pick the former rather than the latter.

To me giving Divas a Chance isn't about putting 9 girls in the ring at the same time It's about giving them proper storylines and Character development.I rather have a 3 way match for the Divas title then some elimination 9 Diva tag match simply because the Divas title hasn't been defended(ppv wise) in 2 months and summerslam is a big wrestling event. And also I didn't see anything wrong with kellys title run she had some good matches with Beth as a matter of fact at summerslam a few years ago. |

But I do agree that the Divas should get more development instead of just throwing a bunch of them together on a PPV.
Why is Alicia Fox a Bella? What made Charlotte join Paige's team? Is there any real rhyme or reason why Sasha teamed with Naomi and Tamina except that they're heels? Why did the Bellas act like faces on Raw?
It's lazy just like most of the SummerSlam booking.

I don't see it happening, but personally, to me, it's much smarter to build the division around that than to make Eva Marie or Lana the "face". |
