They're not done. They just have to clear room on the production line cause of all the UFC figures they are having to pump out. Last year Jakks UFC figures out sold ALL of Mattel's lines COMBINED!!

Just give us Short Hair Bobby Roode, EC3 and the Wolves and then you can end the line there. but Awesome Kong, Rockstar Spud, Bram, DJ Z, Manik and Eric Young! |

Sorry but you are going to be disappointed when its at most 2 repaints, if anything at all. I'm pretty sure the license goes until December unless they made a new deal. Judging from the way the last few sets have gone, the collectors have taken notice that Jakks has given up again like they did at the end of the WWE run (See CS Series 28 + all signed guys that didnt have figures). Reminds me of the Build N Brawl line before it reached its conclusion in late 2009/early 2010. We were supposed to get more Classic 3 3/4-inch figures (LOD, Eddie, Dynamite), as well as first timers to the line (Cryme Tyme, Jesse & Festus, Evan Bourne, Ted Jr., R-Truth) and new buildable parts (Piper's Pit, Steel Cage, RAW Stage). In the end, we got multiple repaints/re-releases of the same guys with the same old ring parts until Jakks eventually just gave up with this exact Series 9 line-up:  Seriously, I wouldn't expect anything new from Jakks on the TNA front. |

Not sure how I feel about this. I only collect the Knockouts from the line anyway. I've noticed that all KOs were really detailed especially in the face paint department. All looked really good...until DI 11 Velvet Sky. Her face just looked awful and same with the recent Angelina. The quality was a sharp drop from the first versions released. Even Angelina's tattoos were just two colours black and red, even though the previous one had all the different colours she used. Nit picky I know but I feel that TNA will only make re-releases. Another Gail maybe, Brooke even. But no new ones like Taryn. Of course, please prove me wrong jakks

If enough of us make our voices heard, we might be able to influence ringside to order a new exclusive. I'd buy any exclusive that features a new head scan. I'd also buy a willow exclusive. I wish we'd have been more vocal a while back an insisted that they release some of the stuff they showed protos of.

Jakks had a 50 minute panel presentation at SDCC. no mention of TNA. it ded I will embrace it if I'm wrong, but I'm positive Jakks has never shown anything TNA at any SDCC. |

I'm sure Jakks just loves the fact that TNA isn't doing so great as a company right now, as it means they can make zero effort, do a terrible job, and just blame TNA and the fans for the poor sales. Toy companies always blame poor sales on the market and the brand, and never even consider or admit that their poor choices and corner cutting might be at least partly to blame. It's probably too little too late now, but if they'd made better choices in 2010 (e.g. made the TNA figures RA style like 70-80% of collectors asked them to), gone a bit deeper into the TNA roster, perhaps invested in a few new RA body parts, and been more committed and clever with their Legends line, I'm convinced they could have built on the huge success of their WWE RA/CS lines. Much like FTC is attempting to do now with the old RA molds.
It's a similar story with Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Collection, despite massive collector interest, Playmates just ruined that line with constant bad choices and corner cutting, then they say the demand isn't there. Although TMNT is a much more valuable brand than TNA, so Playmates are obviously even more incompetent than Jakks...

I really wanted that Tara but no way I'm paying a crazy ebay price even if it does ever show up.
Any time an unreleased head shows up I just hope whoever gets it is kind enough to have it casted to share with other collectors, like someone did with the Mattel Magnum TA.

I really wish Jakks would start in on TNA figures again. IF Destination America cancels Impact, once it finds a new home would be a perfect place to start making new figures.
