A good friend, of mine Jenna (BGC14 REPLACEMENT) Helped me realise to be happy with myself and to just to be open about who I was and helped me through telling a straight guy friend I might have feeling but I wasn't sure

Colt Cabana.
I know, kind of lame for it to be someone I've never met as a opposed to someone close, but through his podcast, Cabana has made a big impact on me. Not only has his kept me interested in wrestling during periods where it was hard to be a fan, but it also introduced me to podcasts. While delivering mail each day I listen to at least seven different podcast episodes. It keeps me sane through work. And it made me start my own, which has been like therapy to me, after going through a real dark period. To say that Colt Cabana, who I have never even met, and his podcast have literally saved my life would be one of the truest things I could say about someone.

Garfield
He taught me that it is okay to hate Monday's, and it is okay to love lasagna, and it is okay to squish spiders.

Like @clamdiger07 there's a lot of people I've never met (entertainers) that have had a huge impact on me and my outlook on life.
Another person that had a huge impact on my life was my old boss. I got a raise and a promotion in charge of a warehouse and I loved the job. You ever hear the saying, "Find a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life" that was this job for me. I had the job for 3 months when my supervisor retired, his replacement came in and made my life miserable. He told me he didn't want me there. He was a yes man to another department, a department that simply wanted to pass job duties elsewhere. My boss being the yes man that he was volunteered me to add to my job duties all the work they did not want to do, more than tripling my workload. Of course I couldn't keep up with all my new duties so he was on my back constantly about not being able to get the job done.
He would make decisions and when things didn't work out, he would tell everybody that it was my idea. From day 1 he only had 5 more years until he retired, meanwhile I have 18 years and I wanted to stay in that position for the remaining 18 years, so I was really trying to put up with him. Finally, I had enough and transferred out, taking a pay cut that I couldn't really afford. So yeah, he had a huge negative impact on my life and I can't stand the guy.

My mom pretty much helped get me through my teenage years because that's when I started getting distant with my dad. She's still always there for me. She isn't always super showy with her support but I know she does. Based on my parents situation, which I won't get into because it's complicated, she kind of got a raw deal in having to be both parents.
I'd say my grandpa too, on my moms side. I wish I had a father like him. He's just so knowledgeable and patient and has always busted his ass throughout his entire life. He's what I'd want to strive to be in a lot of ways.

There's quite a few actually First of all my parents who are the greatest parents I could have ever asked for. My best friend who I've been through a lot with. Couldn't imagine living without her. Moving on to celebrities, there's 5 people. 1) Dave Grohl: Huge inspiration, I agree with almost everything he says and does, I'd love to drink a beer with him and just talk and listen to his stories 2) Charlie Sheen: The concept of 'winning' is so ing brilliant once you understand it. People call him crazy but he's a genius whether people like it or not 3) Rafael Nadal: His mental strength is unbelievably inspiring, he always keeps going, doesn't know the meaning of the word 'quit' and always keeps believing in himself 4) The Rock: Team BringIt keeps me motivated and he's just an all around great guy 5) Bear Grylls: Huge fan of the guy, read his autobiography and it's amazing what he's been through and how he kept fighting back into life

My grandfather on my dad's side. He's the perfect man. Great husband, father, son, everything. He's good to everyone and asks for nothing in return. Not to mention he's 73 with 2 artificial hips and is practically deaf from working at a saw mill his entire life, yet, he still works 30 hours a week and I've never once heard him complain. He's a machine.

Thierry Henry and Dean Ambrose. Theirry Henry - Back when I was 6 years old or so, I was watching TV, going through the channels like you do, it landed on an Arsenal match, Henry gets the ball within seconds, makes a short run before putting it in the net, I was just glued to the screen, he made it look so easy! And since that day, I have been an Arsenal fan. If it wasn't for Arsenal, I don't know what I'd do with my life. Dean Ambrose - I heard the buzz around him during a time where I was very depressed, saw his FCW stuff, loved him. Shield ehhhhh, still ok. Now I don't even watch wrestling anymore but still love me some Ambrose promos.

It's a job that is wayyyyy too physical for the average man, let alone a 73 year old. Totally forgot to mention he beat cancers ass 3 years ago. The man needs a cape.

I never really had family or close friends that impacted or influenced me. At least not in a positive way other than me learning what not to do or be like. I got more from things like action figures, movies, toys and celebrities like some others on here have.
At an early age I'd say I was influenced by cartoons like GI Joe and Masters of the Universe. They taught me to be the best person I can and the difference between right and wrong and to help others. The Christopher Reeve Superman movies influenced me like this too.
Getting into my teens I was taking karate. I spent most of the time training people under me to get them to my level rather than getting to move up myself. I was frustrated and about to give up when two guys that had not been there since before I started training had came back for a few weeks. I got to work with those two guys and learned more in those two weeks than I had in years. I felt better about myself and looked at things differently after that and kept going for awhile longer. Circumstances beyond my control caused me to have to quit but I've still got a passion for it.
Starting in high school I really got into drawing but ended up not doing any art for close to 15 years due to work and life in general taking up too much time to devote to improving enough to do anything with it. About 7 years ago life took a turn for the worst it could. I was a huge Trish Stratus fan and was very sad when I found out she was retiring and that made me feel even worse. I knew she had a website with an address for fan mail so I wrote a letter giving her my thanks for all the years of entertaining me. I didn't want to be a nameless fan so I wrote a bit about myself and to my surprise she wrote back. That lead to use writing each other back and forth for about a year. When she got on Myspace I showed her a picture I had painted of her back in the late 90's and she encouraged me to start drawing and painting again. She's been really supportive of me doing that and plugged me and my art on Twitter and Instagram and very supportive of me doing this. I wouldn't be doing what love today if it wasn't for her.
