It got implemented somewhere in that 04-06 timeframe to give people a place to post to their heart's desire without spamming to rack up post counts (because people used to put stock in that sort of thing). |

I definitely remember the first Gallery of the Gods thread (possibly before the Member Introductions and Banter sub-boards were introduced) and I remember a hell of a lot of arguing and name calling!  |
