I've been here since 2007. On and off obviously. But there have been times where I let drama on this forum affect me in the past - but not anymore, I just sit back and watch it unfold these days. The toughest time for me was when I was Mod of the UK board - I went a bit OTT trying to control certain members' behaviour, and that did me no favours at all. I wouldn't be a Mod here again for all the money in the world, I'm much more content with not having to give a flying  . |

, that Major thread is giving me serious flashbacks. A few years ago, around 2012 or so when I first joined WF, there were two members that didn’t get alone. Jaymie Von Sinn, a transgender person, and True American Values Guy...if you can’t figure out where the heat came in you’re beyond my help. Anyway after one of their spats, TAVG made a thread. A thread about whether or not members here would date a transgender person. He claimed it was a continence and he just happened to see an episode of a TV show about the subject but that was a load of crap. TAVG was none other than me and that story was indeed true, i had seen a tv show and i was curious and obviously I shouldnt have made that post. I think the heat came from the banter board i think, a joke that was taken wrong that I shouldnt have said. Jamie was also super combative towards everyone. who you date is youre own business. At the time i was just getting into being deeply political. Thats where the name came from. Now i couldnt care less who dates who, and i couldnt care less about politics. Everyone is entitled to do whatever they want as long as it doesnt hurt others, especially dating. everyone grows. I remember your Historic Preservation signature you had. |

Glad to see you're doing well. This. I've gone rounds with a sh*t ton of people here. It's a wonder at all that I've managed to keep my original account. But honestly, if any of them came back through today, that's all it would be (unless they demonstrated a perfect lack of unwillingness to change or let the past be the past, i.e. what we all saw go down yesterday). I've mended fences with plenty of people I've downright loathed here, and even got a little bit of nostalgic glee out of seeing some faces pop up that I haven't explicitly come to Jesus with popping up in recent days. Some of us are going to be coming up on 20 years on this board soon. I'd guess that more of us haven't encountered one another in person than have. The internet is a f*cked up place, but it ain't school. No one's forcing us to be here. If the encounters you're having here with faceless pseudonyms on a screen are that bad, and you've got the temerity to keep coming back time and time again, at some point, the onus sort of shifts in that regard. I like this place more than I don't. |

It's a wonder at all that I've managed to keep my original account. The only reason I don't have my original account is an admin went on a member and thread deleting (some boards were completely wiped out) spree before he was finally de-admined. |

very true. When i was my worst is when i was the most depressed...my teen years Not even miserable or depressed. I just call people out on their chit and this place doesn’t like that. Especially when I see hypocrites or people trying to play the victim in scenarios. thats kind of the way it should be |
