So do I. Twitter users who'll spam TF out of your handle because they think you're their friend are free publicity. Depending on the level of fame, some people follow back almost instantly by default, especially if they're working on expanding their online presence.

Don't we all. Oh, wait. No. We don't. That's weird. I have Jaff Harty's phone number. I have all of Edges Matches on DVD and I gave them to him as a gift Very real, not my usual joking self story: In 2002, my family was taking a trip to Orlando for one of the winter breaks we have up this way. This was like, five months after 9/11, and my dad was super paranoid, about airport security, so we got to the airport hella early, took like...20 minutes for the six of us (my immediate family, my brother's friend, and my friend) to get through security and check in, and found ourselves with something like 3 or 4 hours to kill at a relatively small airport that serves as an alternate departure to the much larger metropolitan one in our region. My friend and I were does the math 'cause I'm dumb 16 and 17 at the time, and so we wandered off to explore the very small terminal and maybe get some food at the equally small food court, which is basically a McDonald's and a Dunkin's. As we're meandering about, my buddy points out a guy walking in the opposite direction toward us, and remarks that he kinda looks like Shawn Michaels. I've always thought there were at least some passive similarities between Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam, and this guy definitely had more of a Van Dam thing going on - the hair tied back, the broader shoulders, all that. So I toss out my rebuttal - "nah man, he's more RVD" - right within earshot of the guy, who gives me this knowing smirk, and like a caveman discovering fire, I realize that, yes, it actually is Rob Van Dam. I look back to pull the old double take, and sure as sh*t, he's meeting up with Booker T at the passageway from the terminal to baggage. We continue on down the terminal, finally stopping off to the side to take in the sight as the entire locker room passes us by. Off the top of my head, I remember seeing Kane, Jeff Hardy, Arn Anderson, I wanna say Ric Flair but it's been 19 years, Bubba Ray Dudley, and a ton of others pass us by that day. We didn't approach any of them, because I'm not weird, but we definitely stood there calling out names to each other as we saw them. Jeff Hardy passed close enough to hear us and give a little "what's up" nod. The funniest part of it all was Bubba Dudley making eye contact with us, and without us so much as flinching, telling us to stay put and to not say "a f*cking word!", lol. I guess they were in town that night. I was kinda drifting away from wrestling at the time, but it's always been a cool memory of mine, and obviously on account of this passive interaction, me and Jeff Hardy are now best friends.

Ive had the pleasure of getting to work on the same show as him a couple times when he was inbetween tna and wwe in 2017 before he came back at wrestlemania. Bubba ray is legit a dick irl

Bubba is a jerk. A couple fans, including me, walked up to the Dudleyz and Bubba didn't want to take pictures or autographs and he was hurrying D-Von up. He was very annoyed that people dared to take up his time.
On the other hand, D-Von was fantastic. Very nice.
I met some others but Bubba was the worst one I've ever met.

Bubba ray is legit a dick irl Yeah, I've heard as such on both accounts. I haven't met many wrestling personalities - mostly current guys - but I've been mostly lucky in my interactions. I stagedoor'd an NXT show once, and everyone who came over to make nice with the small crowd there was awesome. I met Nakamura, Ember Moon, Asuka, Regal, Tye Dillinger, and No Way Jose that night. All wicked friendly. I met Dusty Rhodes by accident at NYCC once when he was promoting one of the video games there one year, and he cut a promo on me 'cause I wasn't planning on getting in line to demo the game. Legit highlight of my natural life. T-Bar, Tommaso Ciampa, and Ivar all got their start with my local indy, and are always cool as sh*t when they come back through for an appearance or just to see the boys and get caught in the crowd. Sasha came up through there too, but tends to keep a lower profile, which I can respect. Carmelo Hayes and August Grey are their most recent exports, and both of those dudes are cool as can be (it's still weird typing those names, they've been Christian Casanova and Anthony Greene for so long to me).

Tyrus is a jerk I believe that. Lilan Garcia was so extremely nice. The best "wrestler" I've ever met. Met Shelton and Haas and they were on their way to the bar and Haas shouted that he was going to be world champion one day. Saw Nathan Jones get out of a car but I didn't care so I didn't walk over. When I went to a TNA show AJ and Earl Hebner were nice. I went to a WWECW house show and someone signed my ticket but I do not remember who. They must have been nice because I think I'd remember them if they were awful.
