Don't worry; earthquakes can't melt steel beams. 9/11 was bad. (one of the major dangers of earthquakes is gas-lines leaking and starting fires.. not sure you're aware, lol) The only part of that I knew was that 9/11 was bad.

Remember, I'm old. I just heard about the steel beams thing last year. I heard dank memes and steel beams at almost the same time, I had to catch up rather quickly to the internet.

From what I've been told, it's the conspiracy theorists' reason behind why 9/11 was an inside job, and it just became a meme from that silliness.

I heard dank memes and steel beams at almost the same time, I had to catch up rather quickly to the internet. I was on the internet before a lot of you were born. This is quite likely to be accurate. I didn't really start "understanding" the internet (forums, YouTube, social media, online based companies) until like 2011.

Just ate the last bit of a cold Chipotle burrito. Way better than I expected it to be.

And back then, the "deep web" wasn't deep, so I've seen some shit.

Oh. yeah, I'm aware of the beams not being able to melt thing, but I guess I just wasn't aware of it becoming a meme.

Jet fuel is one of the hottest burning materials, and steel is relatively easily melted metal, so I have no clue how they've come up with that.

I saw just a random YouTube guy make a deep web exploration video and what was insane about it is that some of these websites looked so official. Have to reckon the police are behind at least some of them though.

I'd name a certain website that was somewhat popular back in my day, but I have the suspicion I'd be banned. And remember, this stuff was easily findable through Yahoo or even AOL's built-in search engine.

I have a pretty low tolerance for horrible things these days. I can't even watch the "web fails" "people hurt skating" whatever clip shows.
